بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم
نحمدہ و نصلی علیٰ رسولہ الکریم ، اما بعد
آپ ﷺ نے مرغ ، سرخاب کا ، بکری کا ، اونٹ کا اور گائے کا گوشت کھایا ہے۔
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did eat chicken, pheasant-meat, goat-meat, camel-meat and beef.
آپ ﷺ کھانوں میں ثرید کو بہت پسند فرماتے تھے۔ ثرید شوربے میں توڑی ہوئی روٹی کو کہتے ہیں ۔
From among foods, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam liked thareed very much. Thareed is a dish which has broken pieces of bread/chapatti in soup.
آپ ﷺ نے کھجور نیم پختہ ، تازہ ، خشک کھجور ، چقندر اور حیس بھی کھایا ہے۔ حیس کھجور ، گھی اور پنیر کا مرکب ہوتا ہے۔
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would eat under-ripe, ripe and dry dates. He did also eat beetroot and hais. Hais is a mixture of dates, butter and cheese.
حضرت انسؓ ارشاد فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو ہانڈی اور پیالے کا بچا ہوا کھانا مرغوب تھا۔
Hadhrat Anas radhiallah anhu states that the Blessed Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam enjoyed eating the last remaining food in a plate or cooking-pot.
عبد اللہ بن جعفرؓ فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ ﷺ ککڑی ، کھجور کے ساتھ ملا کر کھاتے تھے۔
Abdullah ibn Ja’far radhiallah anhu states that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would eat a blend of dates and cucumber. (Zaad-ul-Ma’aad)
حضرت عائشہؓ فرماتی ہیں کہ آپ ﷺ تربوز ،کھجور کے ساتھ کھاتے تھے اور فرماتے تھے کہ اس کی گرمی کا اس کی سردی سے تدارک ہو جاتا ہے۔
Hadhrat Aisha radhiallah anha states that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would eat water-melon with dates and would say, “The heat (of the dates) is balanced by the cold (of the water-melon).
آپ ﷺ کو شیریں اور سرد پانی پسند تھا۔ آپ ﷺ کا ایک لکڑی کا پیالہ تھا اس میں لوہے کے پتر لگے ہوئے تھے ، اس میں آپ دودھ اور پانی پیا کرتے تھے۔ ابن سعد
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam liked sweet and cold water. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam possessed a wooden bowl which had iron straps on it. He would drink milk and water from it. (Ibn Sa’ad)
آپ ﷺ نے یہ بھی فرمایا کہ دودھ کے سوا کوئی چیز نہیں جو کھانے اور پینے دونوں کا کام دے سکے۔ نشر الطیب
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam also said, “There is nothing like milk that can serve the purpose of both food and drink.” (Nashr-ut-Tayyib)
اللہ سبحانہ و تعالٰی ہمیں نبی پاک ﷺ کی تمام سنتوں پہ عمل کرنے کی توفیق نصیب فرمائے۔ آمین
I pray to Allah subhana wa ta’ala to grant us the taufeeq to have amal upon all the Sunnahs of the Blessed Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa salla
