بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم
نحمدہ و نصلی علیٰ رسولہ الکریم ، اما بعد
امام ترمذیؒ فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ ﷺ کے پاس ایک رومال تھا جب اپنی جگہ سے آپ اُٹھ کر جاتے وضو کے لیے یا کسی اور وجہ سےتو اپنی جگہ پر رومال کو رکھ دیتے تھے تاکہ پتہ چل جائے کہ اس جگہ پہ آپ ﷺ واپس آئیں گے۔
Imam Tirmidhi rahmatullah alayhi stated that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam possessed a Rumaal that when he would get up and leave for wudhu or for any other reason, he would leave his blessed Rumaal in his place so that the people would know he will return.
چادر کی لمبائی میں اختلاف ہے جس طرح علامہ عسقلانیؒ نقل فراتے ہیں کہ آپ ﷺ کی چادر مبارک تین گز لمبی تھی اور تین ہاتھ چوڑی تھی۔
There is a difference of opinion on the length of the blessed Chaadar of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Allamah Asqalaani rahmatullah alayhi states that the blessed Chaadar was three yards long and one and a half yards wide.
امام قسطلانیؒ فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ ﷺ کی چادرڈیڑھ گز لمبی تھی اور دو گز چوڑی تھی مگر رومال میں لمبائی مختلف تھی ۔ رومال کی لمبائ ایک گز اور چوڑائی بھی ایک گز کی تھی یعنی آپ ﷺ کا رومال مبارک گز بائی گز کا ہوتا تھا۔
Imam Qastalaani rahmatullah alayhi states that the Chaadar of the the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was two yards long and one and a half yards wide. However this was different to length of the Rumaal. Both the length and the width of the blessed Rumaal was one yard. In other words the dimensions of the blessed Rumaal of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam were one yard by one yard.
اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ ہمیں نبی کریمﷺ کی تمام سنتوں پر عمل کرنے کی توفیق نصیب فرمائے ۔
I pray that Allah subhana wa ta’ala grants us the taufeeq to have amal upon all of the Sunnahs of the blessed Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
