نحمدہ و نصلی علیٰ رسولہ الکریم ، اما بعد
رومال شریف کی سنتیں
The Sunnahs of the Blessed Rumaal
عربی لغت میں رومال کو مندیل کہتے ہیں اور چادر کو رِداکہتے ہیں۔ مندیل میں یعنی رومال میں اور چادر میں یہ فرق ہے کہ مندیل جو ہوتا ہے یعنی رومال سائز میں چھوٹا ہوتا ہے اور رِدا یعنی چادر سائز میں بڑی ہوتی ہے۔
In the Arabic word for Rumaal is Mandeel and the word for Chaadar is Ridaa. The difference between a Rumaal and Chaadar is that a Rumaal is smaller in size.
آپ ﷺ کے پاس ایک مندیل یعنی رومال بھی تھا جس سے وضو کے بعد اعضاشریف خشک فرماتے تھے۔
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would have a Rumaal with which he would dry his Blessed hands/arms and face after performing Wudhu.
عیاس بن جعفر النقسیؓ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس ایک رومال تھا جب آپ ﷺ وضو فرماتے تو اس سے پونچھ لیا کرتے تھے۔ ابن سعد
Ayyas bin Ja’far An-Naqsi radhiallah anhu narrates that Allah’s Messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam possessed a Rumaal which he would wipe with after performing Wudhu. (Ibn Sa’ad)
اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ ہمیں نبی کریمﷺ کی سنتوں پر عمل کرنے کی توفیق نصیب فرمائے ۔
I pray that Allah subhana wa ta’ala grants us the taufeeq to have amal upon the Sunnahs of the Blessed Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
