بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم
نحمدہ و نصلی علیٰ رسولہ الکریم، اما بعد
چاروں مذاہب میں یعنی حنفی، شافعی، مالکی اور حنبلی میں داڑھی ایک مشت رکھنا لازم ہے۔
In all four of the madhhabs, i.e. Hanafi, Shafi’i, Maliki and Hanbali, it is an obligation to let the beard grow to one fistful in length.
ایک مٹھی کے بعد زائد بالوں کو کاٹ لینے میں کوئی حرج نہیں۔ رد المحتار
There is no harm in cutting the hair (of the beard) that exceeds one fistful in length. (Radd-ul-Muhtaar)
نچلے ہونٹوں کے نیچے سے جو تھوڑے بال ہوتے ہیں ان کو کاٹنا بھی منع ہے۔ امام نوویؒ
It is also prohibited to cut the few hairs that grow below the lower lip. (Imam Nawawi rahmatullah alayhi)
حضرت امام غزالیؒ فرماتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالٰی کے کچھ فرشتے ہیں جو یہ تسبیح بیان فرماتے ہیں کہ جس نے مردوں کو زینت دی داڑھیوں سے اور عورتوں کو گیسووں سے۔ کیمیائے سعادت
Hadhrat Imam al-Ghazaali rahmatullah alayhi states, “There are some angels of Allah who do the tasbeeh: ‘Glory be to Him who gave beauty to men through beards and to women through long hair.’” (Keemyaa-e-Sa’aadat)
اللہ سبحانہ و تعالٰی ہمیں نبی کریم ﷺ کی تمام سنتوں پہ عمل کرنے کی توفیق نصیب فرمائے۔ آمین
I pray to Allah subhana wa ta’ala to grant us the taufeeq to have amal upon all the Sunnahs of the Blessed Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Ameen
