مکروھات مسواک
The Undesirable Actions Relating to Miswak
اگر لیٹ کر مسواک کریں تو اس سے تلی بڑھ جاتی ہے۔ اگر مٹھی سے پکڑ کر مسواک کریں تو اس سے بواسیر ہو جاتی ہے۔ مسواک کو چوسنے سے بینائی جانے کا بھی اندیشہ ہے۔ مسواک کو زمین پر لٹا کر رکھنے سے خطرہ ہے کہ جنون ہو جائے۔ مسواک کو ہمیشہ اس طرح کھڑی رکھیں کہ ریشے کو اوپر کی جانب رکھیں۔ فراغت کے بعد مسواک کو نہ دھونا بھی نقصان دہ ہے۔ انار سے یا ریحان سے یا بانس سے یا میوے دار یا خوشبو دار درخت کی لکڑی سے مسواک کرنا بھی سخت نقصان دہ ہے۔ مسواک کو دانتوں کے طول میں یعنی اوپر سے نیچے کرنا یہ بھی نقصان دہ ہے۔ تو ان تمام مکروھات سے مسواک کرتے ہوئے بچنے کی کوشش کی جائے۔
Brushing with the miswak while lying down can cause enlargement of the spleen. Brushing while holding the miswak in a fist can cause haemorrhoids. Sucking on the end of the miswak can cause damage to one’s eyesight. Placing the miswak on the floor on its side can cause insanity. When not using the miswak always store it so that it is upright with the bristles at the top. It is also harmful to not wash the miswak after use. It can be very harmful to use a miswak crafted from the wood of a pomegranate, sweet basil, bamboo, fruit or fragrant tree. It can also be damaging to brush length-wise (up and down motion). Hence one should try to avoid all these undesirable things when using the miswak.
یہ بھی یاد رکھیں کہ مسواک وضو کی سنت ہے نماز کی نہیں۔ہاں اگر مسواک کے ساتھ وضو کیا اور اس وضو کے ساتھ جتنی بھی نمازیں پڑھیں گے ہر نماز کا ثواب مسواک کے وضو کی وجہ سے زیادہ ہو گا۔
Remember that miswak is a Sunnah pertaining to wudhu and not to Salaah. However if a person performs wudhu with miswak then all the Salaahs offered with that wudhu will be more in reward due to the wudhu done with miswak.
اللہ سبحانہ و تعالٰی ہمیں نبی کریم ﷺ کی تمام سنتوں پر عمل کرنے کی توفیق نصیب فرمائے۔

یہ بھی یاد رکھیں کہ مسواک وضو کی سنت ہے نماز کی نہیں۔ہاں اگر مسواک کے ساتھ وضو کیا اور اس وضو کے ساتھ جتنی بھی نمازیں پڑھیں گے ہر نماز کا ثواب مسواک کے وضو کی وجہ سے زیادہ ہو گا۔
