مسواک کرنے کا طریقہ
The Method for Miswak
مسواک کرنے کا طریقہ ایسا ہے کہ چھنگلی یعنی سب سے چھوٹی انگلی مسواک کے نیچے ہو اور بیچ کی تین انگلیاں مسواک کے اوپر اور انگوٹھا مسواک کے سرے پر ہونا چاہیے۔ شامی
The method for brushing with miswak is to hold it such that the little finger is below the miswak, the three middle fingers are above it and the thumb towards the head of the miswak. (Shaami)
دانتوں کے ظاہر باطن اور اطراف کو بھی مسواک سے صاف کیا جائے۔ منہ کے اوپر اور نیچے کے حصے اور جبڑے وغیرہ میں بھی مسواک کرنی چاہیے اور زبان پر طولاً مسواک کرنی چاہیے۔ تحطاوی
One should brush the front, the back and the top of the teeth. Both the top and bottom rows around the jaw should all be cleaned. And the tongue should be brushed length-wise. (Tahtawi)
دانتوں کی چوڑائی یعنی عرضاً مسواک کریں، لمبائی میں نہ کریں ورنہ مسوڑے زخمی ہونے کا خطرہ ہے۔
Brush the teeth in a width-wise direction and not length-wise (up-down motion) as this could cause damage to the gums.
نئی مسواک کو کرنے سے قبل دانتوں سے چبا کر نرم کر لیں۔
For a new miswak, bite on the end to make it soft before use.
مسواک کے لیے پیلو ، زیتون یا نیم کی لکڑی استعمال کریں۔ خیال رہے میوے یا خوشبودار درخت کی لکڑی استعمال نہ کریں۔
Use miswaks made from the Arak (Peelu), Olive and Neem trees. Bear in mind not to make miswaks from fruit trees or trees that are fragrant.
الحمد للہ اللہ سبحانہ و تعالٰی ہمیں نبی پاک ﷺ کی مسواک والی سنت جو بہت ہی عظیم سنت ہے اس پر اسی طریقے سے عمل کرنے کی جیسے کہ اللہ کے نبی ﷺ نے استعمال فرمائی کرنے کی توفیق نصیب فرمائے۔
Alhamdulillah, I pray that Allah subhana wa ta’ala grants us the taufeeq to have amal upon this great Sunnah of Miswak, in the same manner in which the Blessed Prophet sallallahu alayhi was sallam used it.
