چادر شریف کی سنتیں
The Sunnah of Chaadar Shareef (The blessed Mantle)
اکثر حالتوں میں آپ کا لباس چادر اور تہمد ہوتا تھا۔ جو دو سخت کپڑے کا ہوتا تھا کبھی پشمینہ کا ہوتا تھا۔
On most occasions the dressing of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would consist of a Chaadar and tehmad which were made from two coarse pieces of cloth and sometimes from pashmina (goats hair).
حضرت ام سلمہؓ سے منقول ہے کہ آپ ﷺ کے لباس میں چادر شریف باکثرت ہوتی تھی۔ شمائل ترمذی۔
It has been related by Hadhrat Umm Salmah radhiallah anha that most often the dress of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would consist of the Chaadar shareef. (Shama’il-e-Tirmidhi).
حضرت عائشہؓ فرماتی ہیں کہ آپ ﷺ ایک مرتبہ صبح کے وقت باہر تشریف لے گئے تو آپ کے بدن پر ایک سیاہ بالوں والی چادر تھی۔
Hadhrat Aisha radhiallah anha stated that one morning the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam left the house wearing a chaadar made from black (goat’s) hair.
اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ ہمیں پیارےنبی ﷺ کی پیاری اداؤں سے محبت عطافرمائے۔
I pray to Allah ta’ala to grant us the love for the beautiful actions of His beautiful Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

today’s dua translation
“Oh Allah, this is the age of dajjal and there’s so much fitna. Nothing can save us from Fitna except following the sunnah and zikr majlis. The zikr majlis is like a fort that protects a person from fitna.
Oh Allah whoever you hate, you keep him far from zikr majlis and you make him lazy to listen to zikr and forgetful of you.
Oh Allah we see refuge from being lazy to come to the zikr majlis.”
