بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم
نحمدہ و نصلی علیٰ رسولہ الکریم، اما بعد
داڑھی کاٹنے والا یا منڈانے والوں میں غیر قوموں کی مشابہت ہے۔
To cut the beard (shorter than one fistful in length) or to shave it bears the likeness and resemblance to the people of other cultures (non-muslim).
داڑھی منڈانے میں عورتوں سے مشابہت ہے۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا جو مرد عورتوں سے مشابہت کرے وہ ہمارے گروہ سے نہیں ہے۔ امام احمد
Shaving the beard bears the likeness and resemblance to women. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, “That man who tries to make his appearance to resemble that of a woman is not from our group.” (Imam Ahmad)
کسریٰ کا وفد آپ ﷺ سے ملنے کو آیا تو ان کی داڑھیاں منڈی ہوئی تھیں اور مونچھیں بڑھی ہوئی تھیں، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا تم پر ہلاکت ہو ایسی صورت بنانے کا تم کو کس نے حکم دیا؟ انہوں نے جواب دیا ہمارے رب کسریٰ نے، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا میرے رب نے مجھے یہ حکم دیا ہے کہ داڑھی بڑھاؤں اور مونچھیں کتراؤں۔ طبری
The delegation of Kisra (Persian Emperor) came to meet the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, the delegates had shaved their beards and grown their moustaches long. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to them, “May demise come to you (to your cultural practices), who has commanded you to make your appearance like this?” They replied, “Our lord Kisra has commanded this.” The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, “My Lord has commanded me to grow my beard and trim my moustache.” (Tabari)
ایک اور روایت میں ایسے ہے کہ آپ ﷺ نے انہیں مدینے سے نکل جانے کو کہا، فرمایا کہ ان کو جلدی سے یہاں سے نکال دو ایسا نہ ہو کہ اللہ سبحانہ و تعالٰی کا عذاب آ جائے۔
In another narration it is related that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam asked them to leave Madinah, saying, “Take them quickly out of here, for I fear the coming of the punishment of Allah.”
اللہ سبحانہ و تعالٰی ہمیں نبی پاک ﷺ کی سنتوں سے دل و جان سے محبت کرنے کی توفیق نصیب فرمائے۔
I pray to Allah subhana wa ta’ala to grant us the taufeeq to love the Sunnahs of the Blessed Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam from the depths of our hearts and souls.

ایک اور روایت میں ایسے ہے کہ آپ ﷺ نے انہیں مدینے سے نکل جانے کو کہا، فرمایا کہ ان کو جلدی سے یہاں سے نکال دو ایسا نہ ہو کہ اللہ سبحانہ و تعالٰی کا عذاب آ جائے۔
