کتنا مشکل تھا ثناء مصطفٰی میں ایک لفظ

نعت رسول پڑھنے کو دل چاہ رہا ہے آج
حال اپنا کچھ سنانے کو دل چاہ رہا ہے آج
احوال پہنچ جائیں میرے ان کے روبرو
اشعار ایسے پڑھنے کو دل چاہ رہا ہے آج
ہو جاؤں ریزہ ریزہ اڑنے لگوں وہاں
خاک مدینہ بننے کو دل چاہ رہا ہے آج
جاتا ہے وہ وہاں پے جن کو بلائیں وہ
ان کی کرم نوازی کا دل چاہ رہا ہے آج
سینے سے لگے جالیاں ہو روضہ رسول
بھیجوں درود ایسے میں دل چاہ رہا ہے آج
ہو روح کو دیدار یہیں پہ میری نصیب
ہوجائے میرا حال یہ دل چاہ رہا ہے آج
آ تو گئے ہیں لوگ مگر ذوق ہے یہ آج
آصفؔ پڑھے اور وہ سنیں دل چاہ رہا ہے آج
