The most important thing for a man's success is intentions.
Everything is based on the intention. When someone intends to do something, he should have a firm intention then Allah's help will come to him. It doesn't matter how many tests, difficulties or obstacles arise along the way, Allah will deliver the one who has made the firm intention to success.
Even in normal situations people progress with this formula in the world. For e.g: Someone wants to begin a business or anything with regards to worldly actions. Then first thing they adopt is an intention.
The target/ambition should be solid that, I will achieve this no matter what. This is how such a person succeeds in the world.

If one can succeed with this formula in the world, then one can't even imagine with regards to the hereafter! Allah's success comes to that person.

This is a key point because behind every success is a solid intention & ambition.
Shaytan doesn't allow us to create the intention. He always tries to weaken our ambition and our intention. He knows that if this believer intends to do something, then he will arrive at his destination.
Shaytan doesn't want us to even make the intention to perform a good action. If a man starts to intend to do a good deed, immediately shaytan will try to put cracks into that intention.

Using the phrase "inshaaAllah" means - 'if Allah wills." It's a great dua for one who wishes to perform a task and assigns it to Allah.
Yet it is known more today as a statement used when one does not want to do a certain thing
If we make an intention, we are on the step to success.

A person doesn't become pious just by going to the gathering of the pious people. First it's the intention that's ignited within. Even the weakest of people that go to the gatherings, begin to intend to do good.
They say to themselves, "I should pray Salah." These are ways of intending!
This is the first blessings of the gathering of the pious people.

As soon as you sit in the gathering of the pious person, Allah ta'ala gives the capability of intention. One begins to develop an intention and when an intention is created, shaytan is weakened and the human gets strength and determination. Moreover, when a person becomes firm on his conviction, then Allah's help comes to him and rewards him for this intention. SubhaanAllah!

Allah ta'ala has stated many times in the Quran, that the success of one's intentions will become visible.

The first step of a person developing taqwa is the intention, the ambition.

The first invitation fasting gives us after keeping the fast, is to have a good intention. Fasting gives the Invitation to a solid plan.

How does the fast begin?
With the intention.
We wake up at pre dawn, keep the fast and the first step is to make the intention; "I will observe the fast tomorrow"
The intention now becomes firm
How does the intention become firmer and stronger?
Even if the fast is 22 hours or it is a hot climate and one is fasting, then with this firm intention, this individual completes that fast regardless of many difficulties he faces. Even if Allah had given him a valid excuse or some flexibility , he doesn't take advantage of it as he is determined to observe that fast.

Some people are diabetic or older in age and they can't possibly fast but they still do so and if you try to make them break it they don't, because their conviction is strong despite having a valid excuse not to fast. So they complete the day and they don't break the fast and this is what we call a strong target. This is the practice of Ramadan. Even children keep fasts like this.
With the barakah of fasting in Ramadan, they observe the fast fully without breaking it.
This intention is such a fantastic resource for a human.
When a person sets forth on a good plan with a good intention, he should be firm on that and not waver. A Muttaqi sticks to his intention and doesn't break it

Allah has put barakah in planning an intention. When one plans for something good and he cant complete that task, then Allah will give them the reward of it due to the barakah of his solid plan.
For example you've made an intention to pray tahajjud in the morning
Shaytan immediately doesn't let the intention come forth. His cunning trick is to make us believe that we are not capable of doing this. Hence, we don't set an alarm as a result. So to break this we should say to ourselves, "no i will do this" and take the help of your firm intention!

Make an intention, set the alarm and go to sleep. If you don't wake up then due to the blessings of your intention, you will recieve the full reward of tahajjud.

Allah loves the strong conviction in a person. Allah then delivers that person to successfully implement that intention.

During this training period of Ramadan Allah has given us the ability to practice through lengthy Salah and recitation of Quran.
So when Ramadan completes, we must continue with firmness.
Nowadays we do not perform good deeds because we don't make a proper intention to carry them out. We are quick to say, "oh it's too hard I can't do this"."

Consider this hard action, the number of hours we've just fasted, we're working through hunger, thirst and heat. This is what we endured and we also stay awake at night. This was all done with a firm intention. And the reward for this is so great that a person become s Muttaqi.
Alllah ta'ala says in the quran:

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
(سورة فصّلت، الآيه ٣٠)

Verily, those who say: "Our Lord is Allah (Alone)," and then they Istaqamu, on them the angels will descend (at the time of their death) (saying): "Fear not, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you have been promised!
(Fussilat, verse 30)

We should make an intention to pray 5 times Salah in congregation in the masjid after Ramadan definitely.
During Ramadan, Allah gave the blessing of Salah to a person who wasn't praying before Ramadan.
The one who was already praying Salah, he should take the next step and pray in congregation.
23rd May, 2020
Allah has closed the masjid today so we should do congregation at home. Put someone forward as imaam and if you do this you'll get full reward of congregation. Everyone has memorized 2 surah's, surah kauthar and surah ikhlas. When you become imam in your home, you'll want to memorise more of the Quran.

So make a solid intention to pray Salah in congregation only and when the good times return then you will pray in the masjid. You need 2 people minimum and there should be Adhan and iqamah.

If we dont go the masjid we can still get the reward of congregation at home. Allah hasn't removed his mercy form us as Allah has excused us from the masjid so we will get 2 reward of going to the masjid and also spreading in congregation.

Make a schedule to recite a portion of Quran daily, read Salah in congregation every. Intend to do Dhikr too. If you've made an intention for all 3, Allah will grant us the reward, as we have bought steadfastness into our lives.

We should make an intention to stop sinning. Instead of aiming to stop all at once, we should start off with one, for example, intend to give up the sin of lying. Make a solid intention. Lying is the root cause of all evil.

Shaytan will remind you that you will lie or make a mistake but Allah is merciful and we are promising to him so Allah will put strength in our intention. If we fail then next day you can continue and try again. Take each sin like this.

If you make good intentions Allah says I will strengthen your plan and I will assist you. You were aware that it was difficult to to succeed in this plan you knew it was difficult for you to pray Salah in congregation and for you to get up for tahajjud, but you made the intention to do the good deed. So Allah says I value and appreciate you intention. I will give you steadfastness and consistency I will strengthen your plan due to the one action of intention of yours.

Intention is a very great thing and Allah solidifies it in the world.
For example if you intend to stop backbiting from today Allah says due to this intention my help will come. I will take you out from such a place of difficulty. Dont fear because shaytan makes ur fear intentions.

Allah says,
When you return to me I will show you the fruits of these intentions. what are these rewards?

The same individual who was scared of making good intention and he made an intention, then Allah made him steadfast and then the time of his reward comes. There will be 3 parts where he will see his rewards.

1) the severe time at the time of death
2) when you will arrive at your grave
3) after exiting the grave

We are enjoying our lives without any worries but 3 difficult phases are promised to us they can come today or tomorrow. We are afraid of death and Corona. This plane accident that occurred today in pakistan did they have Corona?they weren't even in the planes
They were sleeping in thier homes and the plane fell ontop of them. Such is the nature of death.

These phases will be difficult but for those who were steadfast and they abandoned sins through thier firm intentions, infront of them group of Angels will descend and give you ease and comfort. They will assure you not to be scared and they will give you good news of paradise. This is the death for such a person who make firm intentions.

Just like you intended to fast in the morning and you endured a difficult day's fast. Similarly when you intend good, all the difficulties will save you from then difficulties after death.
Just like how Allah protects us from sin during fast, in the same way when one intends to do a good deed Allah delivers that person to his destination.

Just like after you break your fast you see the rewards infront of you in the form of delicious food and cool water. In the same way when one makes a firm intention and he passes away and he had endured difficulties in his life for the sake of Islam, Allah says that keeping the fast- it's time is long, but our life is very short compared to this.

If you can keep the fast for this many hours, you can persevere, then living a life whilst making good intentions is very short when compared to the time of life.

You make the intention, Allah establishes the success. You make the intention and you are scared to do this deed, Allah will strengthen it.

Your grave will become a portion of paradise with Jannah's light and lovely mattresses. Angel's will say salam to you.

Nabi ﷺ will say, "You valued my sunnah in the life and in the world you established the turban. You revived the amamah so how can the Prophet ﷺ forget you in the grave. How can the Prophet ﷺ forget the one who kept the beard.
You endured the swearing and mocking due to purdah and hijab. People tried to make you fail and push you around but due to your intention and your steadfastness, you fulfilled your promise, just like the fasting person who completes his fast till the evening.

Oh my people who don the amamah, oh women who observe purdah, oh brothers and sisters who follows the deen, may I be sacrificed for your practice! Your reward is great! So great that in the darkness of that difficult night in the grave, it will become a mercy for you that the master of madinah

Will be infront of you and durood will come upon your tongue. Nabi ﷺ will say, "oh my follower how can I forget you today in the grave?" In the world you persevered through the difficulties of my sunnah. Today from your lord I have become his reward for you. I am the habib of Allah and I've come to you and i love you and I've come to admit you. Take hold of my hands, i will take you and wander into paradise. I'll give the water from my pond. I will praise you and introduce you to the people of paradise that this person has come from the world successful! He intended to wear the amamah and no force of the world, no country, no hemisphere could stop him. He endured difficulties but he embraced the sunnah and never left it.

This is the lesson of Ramadan my friends!

Allah says I prescribed fasting for you and it is not a burden or oppression upon you. I don't desire to keep you hungry or thirsty or give you toil in the heat. I love you so much and I want to make you practice something good. You will see the consequences of this at death in your grave and in the plain of resurrection.

We've got a little bit of time left so we must make good intentions.
Don't worry about jest or mockery.

My Allah swt grant us all the taufeeq to act upon this and become successful. Ameen !
