Theres a Hadith in Sahih Bukhari that Hadhrat Umar bin Aas رضي الله عنه stated that one occasion an individual presented himself to Nabi ﷺ and he asked a strange request. He said, "Oh Prophet of Allah ﷺ what is the best islam?"
This question is the summary of the entire deen of islam.
The response wasn't lengthy but it was concise. He didn't mention performing a certain number of Ummah or hajj, giving this much sadaqah or worshipping all night long, although these could be the best islam.
Instead, he ﷺ responded with 2 points & presented the whole of Islam.
1) to feed those you know or don't know.

2) to give Salam to those you know or don't know.

SubhaanAllah Nabi ﷺ explained the whole of islam here!

In other words this is the worship for which Nabi ﷺ came to this world. He ﷺ himself mentioned, "I have come to complete character and social/moral conduct."

He ﷺ was not sent for physical worship but to complete good manner.

When Nabi ﷺ was born, the skies made an announcement saying, "take this child around the world from west to east and there should be no place where this child isn't Introduced. He should be introduced to the birds, mountains and to the corners of the world.

Nabi ﷺ possesses all the attributes of the Prophets عليهم السلام۔

The friendship of Hadhrat Ibrahim عليه السلام ، Hadhrat Ismael عليه السلام's word, Hadhrat Ishaq عليه السلام 's pleasure , Hadhrst Lut عليه السلام 's wisdom,
Hadhrat Musa عليه السلام's firmness , the patience of Hadhrat Ayyub عليه السلام، Hadhrat Nuh عليه السلام 's obedience, Hadhrat Yusha عليه السلام 's struggle, Hadhrat Dawud عليه السلام 'a beautiful voice, Hadrath Danyal عليه السلام 'a love, Hadhrat Yahya عليه السلام 'a purity, Hadhrat Isa عليه السلام 'a zuhd and Hadhrat Yusuf عليه السلام 'a Beauty.

He ﷺ had all the attributes of these blessed Prophets عليهم السلام and it was due to their connection with Rasulullah ﷺ
that they possessed these attributes. He ﷺwas the complete embodiment of character and the complete example of good conduct.

Allah Ta'ala created us to tend to those with broken hearts and heal thier pain.
Nabi ﷺ 's conduct was the real teaching for the whole universe.

Aishah رضي الله عنها narrates , " through good character one may attain the level and ranks he may not be able to attain by standing all night long in worship and through fasting"

In other words, a person may worship all night long and fast all day and then does even more worship, but tending to Allah Ta'ala's creation may elevate one's character more than all worship.

The greatest worship is to have good manners. If your conduct is good then your physical worship is light upon light but if your character is poor then all your worship is rolled up and thrown to the side.
So the best islam is to have good manners and good social conduct. (To have good interrelations. )

We see amongst us today, there isn't a lack of worship or hajj or Ummah or lack of sadaqah. There is no lack of any physical worship, infact there is alot of that, so why is there problems in society and this warning from Allah? (Pandemic)
This is a warning in which everything has been stopped from us, our work, masaajid and Taraweeh etc.

For us believers, it is an admonishment and a reminder as we have everything in high quantity but the thing that is lacking is good conduct so Allah ta'ala gives us a severe warning as a reminder.

Allah ta'ala becomes unpleased with us when our characters go downhill and when love and responsibility between us ends and people stop looking out for each other.
So the highest stage of taqwa is based on ones character.

Another hadith.."the best thing that was given to the human in the form of worship is good character"

The foundation of islam is excellent character so has Allah not created it's qualities within fasting? He certainly has. Fasting develops character. There is a characteristic present in the fast that it elevates the character of a person via the fast.

This month is about doing good and looking out for others and tending to each others needs. This is essential alongside fasting and these emotions should be developed. These quality are connected to ones heart. So due to fasting a persons heart is made such that alongside fasting, he adopts love for the creation within his heart. The hardness ends and the softness enters. He develops a recognition and awareness of other peoples pain and difficulties. He has regard and sympathy for them.

When a person breaks the fast it is obvious that there are different people (facing different conditions around the world.)
For example some people live in a mud shack and they dont have a stove and others have nothing lacking on thier food mat with every delicacy on the mat. In some places there are 8 children but no stove lit - nothing cooking. So casting creates sympathy in the hearts for those who dont have food to eat. So he shares his food to the simple homes and those who dont have food to eat. If we can develop this care and sympathy during ramadan then consider that a person has developed taqwa during the fast and has become a Muttaqi.
These caring qualities may not have been present before Ramadan. And this is what Nabi ﷺ came to teach - to develop love for human beings, to show care for others, to have positive thoughts for others, to eradicate strictness against others and to have tenderness in the heart. So Allah has kept that total ability present within a fast that it can develop and improve a person.

Allah has made one poor and the other rich and this is to test us. Because Allah gives him the simple living and via that He wants to give him a high abode in paradise. The the poor were humble and had patience on thier simple lives. Here we live in mansions so what will we have in the hereafter? Yes we can have palaces but if we succeed and the fear and loveis within our hearts and we share in his pain we give him eliqubiruim equality then Allah will make everything we posses a treasure nimah.

May Allah make us such fasting people that enemity is removed within us and our conditions improve. A soft heart should develop and we shouldn't have any envy or hatred or ill feeling towards anyone.
Peace of society is within this house of islam. So if you bring 2 things into society
1) Assisting the destitute and the needy ones. 2) giving salam, as peace and love spreads like this.

So if these 2 things became common in our society, enemity and greed would end the whole society will revolutionise and improve.
The root cause for all impurities in society is due to poor manner and poor social conduct.
We shouldn't merely give Salam to those who have a higher status or give Salam/ feed someone in order to get a task fulfilled from someone.

So Allah gave us the whole month to practise this and pay attention to these things that that are lacking in us. May Allah swt give us the ability to keep such a fast.
