Bayan Episode 32- The Reward for Worship During Negligence

After been given faith and believing in Allah ta'ala, it is compulsory that we live our lives according to the laws of Allah ta'ala.

Allah ta'ala tests our faith to assess whether our Imaan is present or non existent. If we fulfil His orders, Allah ta'ala accepts our Imaan. If we believe but fail to implement, then our faith is weak. Success lies in both believing in Him and obeying Him.

Allah ta'ala's commands are a great test for a person. One finds it difficult to implement the orders of Allah ta'ala and due to this, he becomes a failure and he is punished. He loses out on the blessings and is unsuccessful. He receives punishment due to this.

Allah ta'ala tests us by ordering us with prayer in order to see whether we will fulfil His commands or not. He Himself gains no benefit, yet, a person has bought faith in Allah ta'ala, thus, Allah ta'ala desires to grant him benefit through his prayers.

We may face a calamity or a difficulty at any time. Furthermore, Allah ta'ala's instructions not only serve as tests, rather, if we fulfil them, they serve as a protection for us.

In reality, all of Allah ta'ala's order carry wisdom. They are for our benefit and all His orders are easy to implement. We must fulfil His orders in this life and in return, we will be able to fulfil our own desires in the Hereafter as a reward.

When we rise in the morning, we should embrace the orders of Allah ta'ala and recognise them as a means of protection and success for us. We will never face loss in the world due to His obedience.

We should trust Allah ta'ala and obey His orders without questioning His wisdom otherwise, we are destroying our lives. We should be grateful to Allah ta'ala for granting us Islam and for allowing us to submit to Him only. Through this, we are given a beautiful connection between Lord and Slave.

"Moreover, establish prayer, pay alms-tax, and obey the Messenger, so you may be shown mercy." [24:56]

The whole deen has been explained in this verse. We should not make excuses to avoid implementing the laws of Allah ta'ala such as prayer and Zakah. Zakah is a loan which we give to Allah ta'ala. When we spend in His path, He repays it to us and grants us from unimaginable avenues.

Nabi ﷺ is attached to the Kalimah. Only when we obey Allah ta'ala and His Rasul ﷺ, our faith become complete and we are given the mercy of Allah ta'ala. Without this mercy, we cannot enter Paradise and be safe from Hellfire.

A person is deviated when he only takes hold of one, the Quran or the Sunnah. If we take hold of both, we will not be deviated and if we are safe from deviation, we are safe from Hellfire.

We should make a promise that we will obey Allah ta'ala and His Rasul ﷺ. In return, Allah ta'ala will make us a waliAllah

Laziness comes from Shaytan and our desires.
Laziness and negligence are great things if we utilise them in a positive way. For example, we desire to abandon prayers, but we push ourselves to pray even more. When we try in such a way, Allah ta'ala's assistance arrives to help us. We should never succumb to our laziness.

We should thank Allah ta'ala for negligence. A person who strives to remove his negligence, gains double reward because he fulfilled the laws of Allah ta'ala through Mujahadah, hard work.

When one desires to abandon the instructions of Allah ta'ala, he should fight his desires and fulfil it anyway. When a person strives like this, he has in fact fought against Shaytan and has become a courageous person. This is because he did not accept the desire of his heart, rather, He obeyed the instructions of Allah ta'ala and fought his negligence.

We should not fear to convey good words and invite others towards good company. We should do so without hesitation and without fear of our friendship and connection with others becoming impacted.

If you earn the world alongside the Hereafter Allah ta'ala will grant both to you.

Many of us wish to flee this country and move to an Islamic one, although we gain more reward for practicing our deen here. In reality, we are not disturbed by practicing from anyone here. Rather, they have favoured us and assisted our deen. We shouldn't criticise them and go against them, nor mock them.

The waliAllah are developed where one practices in an environment where the deen is lacking. We should correct ourselves and practice deen in this country and Allah ta'ala will open the doors of Paradise for us here. We get more reward for practicing when we practice in a Non Islamic environment

We should work harder when we're lazy. We gain more reward for attending the dhikr gathering and when we pray Tahajjud, despite feeling lazy.

Nabi ﷺ stated that he prefers to sit with those who engage in dhikr after Asr over the entire world and what it contains. Therefore, The pious predecessors say that Nabi ﷺ sends mercies to such a gathering after Asr.

May Allah ta'ala allow us to implement. Ameen
