A person becomes attached to the world after having lived in it for so long. He has connections with the world. When he departs, he is transferred to another place and has no knowledge of what will occur in the next abode and how he will be treated.
Death is reality for everyone no matter what religion he believes in. It is something which cannot be rejected. Soon we will all depart from this world.
Shaytan and desires make a person lazy and negligent from death. When one is ignorant of death, he begins committing evil actions as he is trapped in the love for the world.
Nabi ﷺ stated that if we perform the dhikr of Allah ta'ala at the time of departing this world, we will have no worries, concerns or sorrows. It will eliminate our fears.
If we have been steadfast upon dhikr throughout our life, it will make us succeed at the time of death.
There is no benefit in loving this world as we will soon depart it. We should attend these gatherings regularly and it will enable us to pass the test of life.
Whoever has the ability to attend the dhikr gatherings in the other Khankah, should definitely attend and not waste these opportunities. He should not lose out on these opportunities unless he has a valid excuse like sickness.
Allah ta'ala has given us wealth, health, power and energy for this reason. Thus, we should attend these gatherings.
