Door to Forgiveness

The reward for attending the dhikr gathering is very great. All other acts of worship are performed for the objective of attaining this reward. We must worship with the objective of attaining salvation and forgiveness from Allah ta'ala. Successful is that person who departs this world with forgiveness.

A person who is forgiven is granted a beautiful death. His grave becomes a garden of Paradise. The one who is not forgiven is punished severely in the Hereafter with snakes and Hellfire.

Hadhrat Anas رضي الله عنه narrates that those who assemble together with the sole objective of remembering Allah ta'ala, the angel in the heavens announce forgiveness for them. Allah ta'ala also converts their sins in to good deeds.

A person who passes away in this state receives Paradise. Nothing is difficult for Allah ta'ala so we must have hope in His mercy.
It is due to Allah ta'ala's grace upon us that He has allowed us to gather. It is not due to our own achievements.

Whilst in this gathering, we should not worry over our sins and consider ourselves sinful. Rather, we should have faith that we will be forgiven due to Allah ta'ala's mercy upon us.

We should participate in the dhikr gathering with the purpose of attaining forgiveness and not for attaining reward as a person will be rewarded regardless.

With every action and worship, Allah ta'ala has placed the condition of sincerity. We must be sincere in order to have our deeds accepted. The dhikr of Allah ta'ala is the only deed through which a person attains forgiveness without doubt and without conditions specified.

We may not have made much effort to attend the dhikr gathering, however, we have stacked up the rewards for dhikr just for having the intention to attend.

One who travels to attend the dhikr gathering is witnessed and welcomed by Allah ta'ala's creation he passes along the way. The creation seek forgiveness from Allah ta'ala on such a person's behalf.

If we have been granted a great status through this reward, we must secure and protect this reward as Shaytan can destroy this gift. We should make an intention to seek Allah ta'ala's refuge from sinning and seek His mercy. We should intend to abstain from disobeying Allah ta'ala. Thereafter, this intention will be beneficial for us even if we happen to slip up.

May Allah ta'ala allow us to implement. Ameen
