I consider myself to be the beloved servant of Allah ta'ala during this time. I have not received any kingdom, nor a job offer, nor have I won the lottery. Rather the following Hadith has made me rejoice.
Hadhrat Abdullah ibn Umar رضي الله عنه narrates a Hadith in Baihaqi and Ahmad Shareef, "There is no other worship which can compare to the worship which is performed during these ten days. During these days, you should remember Allah ta'ala in abundance."
These are the days to elevate the name of Allah ta'ala.
سبحان اللہ والحمد لله ولا إله إلا الله والله اكبر
These are the best days and this worship is greater in the eyes of Allah ta'ala than the worship we perform throughout the rest of the year.
This gathering is beloved to Allah ta'ala and He is proud of us amongst His angels. Those who attend such a gathering will be forgiven, so these special nights are a great wealth which we are receiving.
Whoever did not partake in the morning Majlis has lost out. We should make sacrifices during these ten days. Allah ta'ala selects special pearls for our rewards and treasures. Allah ta'ala desires to save us from Hellfire so we should take benefit from these special days without wasting any time. If we waste time going on holidays and meeting people, we will face severe loss.
The greatest action is Hajj. Whoever has the capacity, must perform it and as a result, he becomes the beloved of Allah ta'ala.
For those who are not able to attend, the compensation is that they should spend time in the company of the wali Allah. This is a great reward and display of generosity from Allah ta'ala.
We should not waste this time. This is such a special time that the pious people witness the mercy of Allah ta'ala descending at this time. We cannot see or feel it but the pious people can, as Allah ta'ala has given them vision of the heart.
There is no greater place to attend than the dhikr Majlis. During these days, we should sacrifice ourselves for the Hereafter. Whoever worships during these nights, his reward is equivalent to the night of Laylatul Qadr.
When we engage in dhikr which is the most beloved action to Allah ta'ala, then we also become beloved to Allah ta'ala.
Today's dhikr gathering cannot equate to other dhikr gatherings. If you wasted Fajr and the dhikr gathering today, then do not waste it tomorrow. We must give up our laziness and sleep during these blessed days.
