The biggest defect in our deen which creates problems, is negligence. (Ghaflah)
If a person is distant from Allah, he is closer to Jahannam.

With negligence, a person wastes the blessings Allah ta'ala has given to him. The passion of doing good diminishes. He begins doing more wrong which results in him regretting in the akhirah.

Ghaflah is the tool used by shaytan as it influences one to be negligent.

If a believer leaves an order of Allah and he presents excuses then he has been trapped by negligence and has been taken far away.

Allah gives all the levels of paradise for the one who prays salaah as it is a beloved action to Allah.

The foundation of our deen and akhirah is salaah. And the reason one leaves salah is due to negligence and laziness. Theres no other reason why one abandons salaah.

The blessed Awliyah Allah would worry about fulfilling the criteria of Salah.
Our state is such today that we never even regret or cry over leaving Salah. We instead try to present proofs for not praying and if someone reminds us to pray we tell them to mind thier own business. Such people mock others who pray.

They say 'make dua for me, I'll try to pray." but have they ever said pray for me that I go to work? No because there's no laziness in going to work but there is negligence and laziness in salaah. So shaytan makes them say such statements and detach from Allah. This is why the biggest factor of one's destruction is negligence.

Nabi ﷺ said I wish to set their houses alight..(regarding those who dont pray Salah in congregation.)

So what will be the state of those people in whose homes no prayer is performed. They don't have arrangements or desire for salah. The parent's don't encourage the children to pray. If the children don't go to university or school the parents reprimand them but why not with prayer also?

Parents often produce methodologies for their children's studies but not for children going to masjid. Have we ever seen a dispute over the children being ordered to pray?

If this is the condition of our society then how will mercy and contentment come? Where will it come from if we've placed Allah's orders behind us.

Why doesn't a human pray?
Due to Laziness and negligence.

During the timings of fajr and isha, one is overwhelmed by sleepiness and these 2 salah are the most important.

The Prophet ﷺ said regarding the one who prays isha Salah and follows it with fajr - he will receive the reward of staying awake at night and praying tahajjud.

We shouldn't delay isha because shaytan and nafs will increase our laziness. We must make it a law to pray the Salah immediately especially the women folk. We should stop our chores and duties at the time of Salah. These are the signs of Muttaqi and these qualities will enable us to enter Jannah.

We should strive to become a Muttaqi, not to become Wali Allah, rather to receive high ranks in paradise and be safeguarded from Hellfire.

We must be determined, as shaytan and nafs are always present. So how can we maintain this determination?
If we spend Ramadan correctly, the good habits we initiated will continue for the rest of our lives. Your life will maintain those good habits, guaranteed by Allah!
But we must remember one thing. When Ramadan ends we still require the determination and the strong desire because shaytan comes with a strong attack after Ramadan.

If one hasn't fasted correctly in the past 17 days, he can make an intention to fast correctly now and then the previous fasts will also be atoned for!

Those that have been excused to fast, should still adhere to the limits of a fasting person and abstain from sin. If he must eat, he should have some shame instead of eating infront of others.
Hadya should only be given by those who are never able to fast. The one's who cannot fast during Ramadan due to sickness and long hours, should make-up for the fasts in winter days.

Don't play games with this month as Ramadan is sanctified and holy. Many rewards and blessings are descending from the heaven. Yet people are playing games and watching dramas. They should have hayah/ shame. Aren't the angels watching?
We should do taubah and instead pray to Allah to give good health so one can fast again. If one is weak and sick it doesnt mean he openly enjoys himself infront of other people.
This is adab/manners!

The objective of fasting is to fortify yourself because shaytan is shackled and we should be shackled by Allah's mercy and refrain from sin.
If we keep such fasts, Allah ta'ala makes us Muttaqi and accepts our salaah and decorates our Jannah.

Our negligence may be removed through fasting because Allah has prepared the qualities of siyam and Qiyaam within Ramadan.

If we look at our previous state, after praying the fard of isha we would run off and not even go to the masjid and now we pray 20 rakat Taraweeh, whereby the hufadh recite the entire Quran. So to remove our negligence and laziness Allah swt has given us this 30 days to practice!

Most negligence and laziness is in Salah and due to this our whole deen is destroyed. So if you look after your Salah your deen will be looked after. If you want to decorate and improve your deen then make your Salah firm because Salah attracts a person towards good deeds. Due to its barakah Allah opens the doors for human being.

Allah has scheduled a great routine for us in ramadan. Morning and night is the time of negligence but in Ramadan Allah ta'ala occupies us in worship so that even after Ramadan we are used to praying on time, going to the mosque and doing nafil Salah.

When a person's stomach is full, the passions arise and he sleeps more. Then his negligence and laziness expands.

So Allah has put barakah in Ramadan that he has kept the person hungry throughout the entire day. When theres nothing in the stomach then the idea of negligence and lazyness doenst even arise! This act suppresses the desires.

Allah teaches us to control our nafs and laziness so when we leave Ramadan our desires wont make us Ghaflah and we can control ourselves.

May Allah swt grant us the taufeeq.
