Alhamdulillah a special Jumuah has arrived. Sha'ban has returned taking its mercy and blessings with it and Ramadan has arrived with its own blessings, treasures and mercy.
The beautiful movement of lights in opposite to each other.

If one is heedless or negligent even in these blessed moments, he faces great deprivation!
Within these blessed moments, Allah grants us the great opportunity to Remember Him.
This is the 1st night of ramadan, the blessed night which we awaited to witness the entire year.
Allah has allowed us to witness it out of His grace and bounty.

How should we begin ramadan?

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained."

This is such a great blessing for a believer and these moments are so lofty and precious that even performing a small deed therein may lead us to Jannah inshaaAllah!

Allah swt opens the doors of Jannah and closed the door of Jahannam and He commands jibraeel عليه السلام to chain the devils up so they do not corrupt this month for us and so we may remain protected from his mischief and as a result, we may spend this month with blessings and ease. What a great blessing!

Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reports, Nabi ﷺ said " Prepare for the first night of Ramadan, for on this night Allah gazes at His creation, a special gaze which is unique to this Ummah. Allah will never punish the one upon whom He gazes." (Bayhaqi)

So alhamdulillah we are sitting here doing nothing but remembering Allah instead of roaming in the market places or engaging in worldly affairs . So inshaaAllah we can be reassured that Allah's special gaze and attention will be upon us since we will be remembering him through Dhikr Allah. The Dhaakir is never deprived from Allahs mercy, the dhaakir is never at loss alhamdulillah. So congratulations upon you all Allah has granted us the ability to remember Him in these precious blessed moments!

On this night a wind blows beneath the arsh and this wind is called Bashirah
The special quality of it flows through rejoicefully and it touches and moves all these parts of jananah causing a beautiful voice to emit, it releases a melodious note which none has ever heard neither will they ever hear.

The hurs are beautified and adorned even more beautifully. They come and stand in the places of paradise which is a unique scene of this night which Nabi ﷺ has described.
They call out "is there anyone who will seek us from Allah so that Allah may do his Nikah with us ? SubhaanAllah this is a hint that a fantastic night is commencing and that they may be brides for the men if they commit to the actions Allah has commanded them to do this Ramadan. Then they ask the wind what is this night?
The door of Ridwan will reply "Oh beautiful hur's, This Is the 1st blessed night of Ramadan" and it mention the virtues to them.

Allah has allowed us to begin this month beautifully so may He allow us to spend the entire month with peace, ease and blessings also.
May we make the most of our capabilities to perform good deeds and Abstain from makruh and evil things.
We MUST cleanse our homes from all evil and the things from which the angels of mercy refrain from entering upon.
We MUST Lock these things up and also make a promise today that we will abstain from wretched deeds from which the angels will be distanced.

3 things we need to focus on this Ramadan as this is the adornment of Ramadan:

1) hold onto the Dhikr gaherings this Ramadan. Morning and evening with firmness!
2) recite the Quran in abundance. this is in the month of the quran so designate certain timings throughout the day to read much quran everyday, to the best of your ability.

3) dua - supplications. If Allah swt has opened His doors then we should be beseeching Him day and night! We should constantly suplicate and with certainty that He will respond. Do not become hopeless! Pray so much that you become tired. Pray in Sajdah and pray in every moment that you can ! Pray in every language but be sincere in your prayers.
May Allah grant us the taufeeq.
Ramadan Mubarak to to you All!
Mall Allah swt make these blessed moments beneficial for all of us.
