Allah opens 300 doors of Mercy on this night.
No one leaves empty handed from supplicating to Allah. Humans get annoyed when you keep asking them but Allah is so generous that if we dont ask Him he gets angry.
We lack in yaqeen today. We rely on artificial things. We rely on paracetamol to relieve us from pain but Allah is the means of that pain being relieved. Allah uses these times of calamity to see if we return to him. and when we do Allah doesn't make sarcastic comments like oh now you remembered. Allah gets happy when such a person returns back to him.
We must have yaqeen that Allah will give us then he will give us !
Allah has given us this night mainly for repentance to turn back to him! The other ibaadat dhikr etc are considered beneath this. And Allah gives us this night to prepare for Ramadan.
Hadith mentions that Allāh forgives so many people on this night as to the amount of wool on the sheep of the tribe named Kalb. (This tribe were known for having many many sheep)
If we make taubah today it is as though we have also received Ramadan inshaaAllah.
Make taubah today and watch. You will realise your state being changed from the morning!
