Zaalika fauzul azeem - when get through tests in this life, have a good judgement and thus have good time in jannah - this is success. These tests are nothing. Make effort, struggle - be a Mujaahid. How do we attain this success? Just ONE good deed that pleases Allah is enough. We have a plethora of opportunity for these, more than number of breaths in life. Doesn't have to be some huge deed.

What's the lesson here? Take all opportunity to grab such deeds, to get your forgiveness. Anything.
Eg remove some random obstacle from path - immediately 10000 good deeds written for you, of which only 1 is enough for Jannah.
Eg help some random person who's lost to find his way - 1 million good deeds, removes 100000 sins, elevate status 1 million times.
Jannah easy, Allah has opened many doors for the ummah. In this age, goldmine.
Eg save respect of someone - an angel created for you, responsible to take you to Jannah.
Eg. Orphans. Protect them, help them. All sins gone, azaab gone, guaranteed Jannah.
Moosa (as) saw someone sitting in shade of arsh. One who avoided backbiting and gossip.

But are our deeds accepted? For salah, must be in Masjid. For every worship, there are conditions. Same for all deeds. Clean your heart, Qalb Saleem, and all your deeds will be at the level of acceptance. If dirty heart, your ibadat, your hajj, will evaporate to nothing. With clean heart, even small deeds will have high status. You will be good to others etc.

We see in this world the status of friends of Allah, because they have so many such deeds to their name. Example of Boro Hadhrat Sahib (db) who gave their blanket to someone sleeping during freezing weather. They worked on their hearts.

Zikr from Sheikh won't clean your heart without correct niyyat. We don't care for other's predicament, make excuses. When we are OK, we leave those who are in trouble. Forget when we went through such troubles. We're hard-hearted, no mercy for others, just focused on our issues and our families. The soft hearted run after strangers, don't care about themselves. Awliyah don't give preference to their children, all their mureeds like their children. Making their hearts alive. We have no mercy for our own kids, slap them, how we going to help others? The soft hearted can't sleep if bad to kids or others. Has zikr changed your heart? Do you have love for others.

You should prefer forgiveness over revenge. Story of women who threw rubbish on Rasoolullah (saws) and they visited her when she stopped, check if she ok. True leaders like this - care for people, not themselves. Sit alone, muraqah and reflect if you're like this. Love for poor. Yet there's so much zulm - against wife, against own father, hit and swear at them. Such a person's hajj, zamzam etc are nothing. Put tears of mercy in your hearts. Increase your zikr to get to this state, with intention to improve your heart. Don't rely on your Sheikh to pull you up on this - their job is to get you going on the path, but then YOU have to assess yourself, how much greed, ria, etc in your heart.
