Disobey with excuse that "it's hard" , you're challenging Allah. Have to follow orders, even if problems arise as a result, even death. No need to fear. (Like a soldier following the general, full Trust.) if Allah pleased with you, nothing to worry about. Those who have dunya fortune and ease, don't look at them - they're not actually prospering. When obey, you'll have sakina, contentment, satisfaction with whatever you have - this is real prospering. You won't go to haraam to gain in dunya. You may ask for them in dua, but have no problem if not have in this life. Will be fully compensated in aakhirah, so keep asking
