Every person, whatever their situation, has problems in this life. This is the nature of life, worse than a donkey carcass, so why do we run after it?

Multan is a hot climate, you wouldn't pack warm clothes to go there, so why do we do the same for this life, trying to make women hoors, or making fancy buildings. We want to make this world into paradise. We make immense sacrifices to do so, breaking shariah to do so, leaving our relatives etc for money, money, money, but end up with illnesses and problems etc - jahannam in both lives! We compare ourselves by size of business, bank balance, children status etc, but what will happen when you have a heart attack?

ASIDE. Best way to help deceased is by reciting, say ikhlaas, and giving them reward. (Why we push our kids to dunya before complete hifz/ilm, do broken Taraweeh without proper revision). Story of son whose dead father was rich in grave due to son reciting one Quran every day, and gave reward to him to repay him for his effort in making him hafiz, even though poor in dunya (until son's death). Today, parents think practising kids extreme, want them to be big in dunya and leave deen. Bringing curse on their homes. So, always remember those who have passed away, who have benefitted you in deen, parents, sheikh, Quran teacher etc

So, how do we stop running after this dunya? We should be content and happy with Allah, whatever our situation. No problem to use resources to make your dunya better, but don't break shariah, don't trample people's rights. If you do, you're not happy with Allah. Dua - oh Allah, give me taufiq to live my life according to Your pleasure. If you stick to basic ibadat, but don't transgress shariah, you are happy with Allah, and Allah is happy with you.

Example, you have a car, but want a better one, but get haram job, leave salaah in jamaat etc to get more money, no good. If you make dua for better car, and you get it in halal way, that's fine, since it's not making paradise on earth, since doing in Allah's way, with money Allah gave you. For example, Huzoor wanted to go hajj, was running shop, didn't leave salaah jamaat etc, and got more customers.

How did ours predecessors attain this state? Dhikr and sunnah. Then Allah will give you contentment and protect you from stench of dunya. Rights of wife, kids, parents, not money. Don't leave them, travel across the world for money. Don't you trust your Raab? Move where you can practise sunnah. The one being, other than Allah, whose rank can't be elevated by anyone (except Allah) is Rasoolullah (saws), so imitate him!
