Allah states that after Hajj, 'remember Me', ie it will be accepted after you do dhikr. So, this can be applied for any of the faraaidh ibaadat - do a few mins of Dhikr of the heart after salaah, Quran or any such ibadat.

And Allah states to do this Dhikr with deep love, passion, zest, and affection (as you would when remembering a close relative). If you do, you will cry, one tear of which will extinguish the fire of Hell. So, unlike faraaidh, there's no forcing someone else to do dhikr, they'll do it themselves if the have love for Allah.

So, do dhikr after ibadat so that get accepted. And do it with love, from the heart. And when you do so, your love will increase. In fact, since Dhikr is not compulsion like the faraaidh, you'll do it if you have Allah's love. And when Allah loves you, He'll pull you to Dhikr. And if He loves you, will He punish you in the aakhirah?

Some people do dhikr to get success in dunya. Allah states that they will have "no portion in the hereafter". Do it for love. Don't ask for Dunya after Dhikr. Allah states that His judgement will be swift - reward or punishment.

So why do we run after dunya, but make excuses for leaving Dhikr? There's no stick to compel you, like salaah, but why don't we have love? It's mentioned 800 times in the Quran. Allah told Hadhrat Musa (as), when they went for dawat, to "not forget Me". Success will only come with Dhikr. There are great scholars who come Dhikr because they know that their knowledge won't give them its benefits - they have a great rank
