In the Ahadith, it is stated that on the Day of Judgement, the dead will rise from their graves and gather on the plain of resurrection. People will rise from their grave in different conditions. Some will rise in a negative condition due to Shaytan’s influence and the evil deeds they performed during their lifetime. Others, will rise from their graves bearing illuminated faces shining like the moon. Such people will be those who engaged in regular and abundant Dhikr in the world.
Today, performing good deeds may seem difficult, and our desires may be challenged in the process. However, these are only a few days of hardship. If we persevere through them, we will be rewarded with a beautiful Paradise.
We may feel tired, but this tiredness is truly beneficial, for great rewards are granted in the Hereafter for our efforts. The more difficulties a person endures, the greater the reward. We should bear these trials with happiness, knowing that Allah ta‘ala has promised the Dhaakireen a beautiful reward.
...."Men and women who remember Allah often - for them, Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward." [33:35]
The pious predecessors state that كثيرا refers to the Dhikr performed in the heart.
When a person learns the Dhikr of the heart from a Sheikh, his heart becomes alive. If he implements the prescription given by his Sheikh, then with every passing moment, his heart will remain in the state of Dhikr.
Those who remember Him, will be granted great rewards and forgiveness.
The Dhikr of Allah ta'ala makes the most difficult of actions, easy to implement - such as implementing the Sunnah through which a person will be granted the greatest success.
A person may perform a hundred Hajj, yet find it difficult to implement the Sunnah and this is because his desires oppose him.
When the desires are crushed through Dhikr, then a person is granted the love for the Prophet ﷺ and then it becomes easy for him to practice the ways o
fh. For every preparation of Jumuah - such as taking a bath and applying scent, Allah ta'ala has granted a great reward.
Before undertaking any action, like attending the Masjid and exiting our homes, we should measure it against the Sunnah and ensure we practice it according to the Sunnah.
Before we begin any action, we should recite "Bismillah", and in this way, our actions will be full of blessings. This is the guarantee of the Prophet ﷺ.
Imagine the one who is always taking the name of Allah ta'ala in his heart - he becomes the fountain of blessings!
If we learn and perform Dhikr, it is an excellent practice. If we have attained Dhikr, we have attained the biggest treasure of life.
We should have love for Dhikr and make effort for the sake of Dhikr.
May Allah ta'ala allow us to implement these precious pearls. Ameen
