Jewels of Ramadhan 2026- Episode 4

During this blessed month, Allah ta'ala develops and elevates the believers. When a believer sincerely strives and makes proper use of the means available to seek His mercy, only then is he granted the mercy of Allah ta'ala.

Supplication is one thing, and adopting the necessary means is another. While we should supplicate to Allah ta'ala for our needs, we must also make proper use of the means He has provided in order to attain the desired results.

Allah ta'ala has increased the rewards for good deeds during this month.

Allah ta'ala teaches us that if we desire His mercy, we must work hard. We should perform every good deed with determination and shun any laziness we may face.

After Fajr, we often feel tired. If we make effort and sacrifice our tiredness and hunger, then Allah ta'ala will shower His mercy and blessings upon us throughout the entire day. Only when we make effort, His mercy is granted to us.

We should establish a schedule for Ramadan and remain committed to it, ensuring that we participate in all three gatherings during this blessed month. We must reduce unnecessary sleep, think productively, and make the most of our time. All five daily prayers should be performed in congregation. Furthermore, this way of living should not end with Ramadan, rather, it should continue thereafter. If we do so, we will continue to experience the sweetness and enjoyment of Ramadan throughout our lives

Although the restrictions may ease after Ramadan, we must remain steadfast upon our schedule of worship and continue adhering to the training we received during this blessed month.

For the true believer, Ramadan never truly ends and his fast is only truly broken when he returns to Allah ta'ala. At that time, he will be honoured with the dish of fish in Paradise.

During this blessed month, we are required to sacrifice some of our daily activities and comforts. Therefore, we should plan ahead and reserve our work leave in advance for Ramadan, especially for the last ten days, so that we can devote ourselves fully to worship and maximise our rewards. We must take as much benefit as possible from these precious days, for once they pass, they will never return to us.

We should pass these days in a unique way from the rest of the months, for this is a month of effort and sacrifice.

If you are a business owner with employees who work under you, you should grant them concessions during this blessed month. Allow them time to perform their prayers, permit them to finish work earlier, and pay them in full. Strive to adjust or reduce your working hours, and consider closing your shop earlier so that you may participate in the gatherings and fully benefit from the blessings of Ramadan.

Your bank balance may decrease, but Allah ta'ala will never leave you needy. When sacrifices are made for His sake, He places blessings in one’s sustenance. However, if we fail to make these sacrifices during this blessed month, our trade and business may be deprived of blessings for the remainder of our lives.

We should consider appointing a staff member to oversee our trade or shop so that we are able to attend the gatherings of Dhikr. If we miss a gathering, that loss cannot truly be compensated. During Ramadan, we should request earlier leave from our employer, even if it means accepting a reduced wage. We may offer to make up the hours or work overtime after Ramadan. In this way, we prioritise our spiritual gain whilst also upholding out worldly duties.

In reality, there is no loss in closing our shops to maximise our benefit during Ramadan. To adopt this approach, we must have firm belief and determination that the Hereafter is far greater than this fleeting world, so our priority will always be the Hereafter over this world.

Those who are unemployed, should make it a priority to attend all three daily gatherings.
Spending time in the company of the Sheikh during Ramadan is a priceless action. We should value the Great Sheikh's company and be grateful to Allah ta'ala for it.

Our worldly affairs serve as a test from Allah ta'ala during this month. Even if we face loss regarding our trade, Allah ta'ala will compensate for us in a beautiful way.

Allah ta'ala will grant us according to our efforts. The more we strengthen our faith and belief, the more benefit we will attain.

It is very foolish of us to neglect the gatherings of Dhikr. Soon, these blessed opportunities will pass, and we will no longer be able to benefit from them. Therefore, we should be willing to sacrifice from our wealth and adjust our work in order to attend during this sacred month. If we fail to do so, we will deeply regret the time and opportunities we wasted.

Each day of Ramadan brings a unique mercy from Allah ta'ala. Thus, if we miss even a single day, we cannot receive that same mercy, that same gathering, or that same blessing again.

Every moment of Ramadan is precious and must be seized. Allah ta'ala prohibits us from eating and drinking during the fasting hours so that our time is not wasted, allowing us to dedicate ourselves to His remembrance and gain maximum benefit from this blessed month. Similarly, He prohibits approaching our spouses during fasting hours so that our desires are controlled and our lust is eliminated.

If Allah ta'ala has prohibited certain actions during this blessed month, we too should restrain ourselves from other distractions and unnecessary activities, so that we can maximise our time for worship and Dhikr.

We should constantly assess how much time and efforts we are able to sacrifice for the sake of Allah ta'ala.

The Noble companions participated in the battle of Badr during Ramadan yet, they did not abandon fasting in this state.

Similarly, we must grab opportunity to perform good deeds and attains the rewards which Allah ta'ala has kept for us during this month. We should take hold of the company of the Sheikh and Dhikr.

May Allah ta'ala allow us to implement these precious pearls. Ameen
