Why is Tazkiyyah Important? - Part 13

We pray to Allah ta'ala to be safeguarded from bodily sicknesses. In reality, these are not sicknesses as they may simply deliver us to our grave and its effects are not lasting. Rather, we should pray to be safe from spiritual sicknesses which will impact us even in our graves. The impact of those diseases will become apparent in the grave and we will face punishment due to them.

In reality, we are not departing this world empty handed. We are departing whilst carrying the darkness and sins within us.

Therefore, we should visit the spiritual physicians who are able to eliminate the real sicknesses which will cause us to be punished in the grave.

The punishments of backbiting and lying are severe, particularly for those who do not work hard towards eliminating them.
Unfortunately, we connect ourselves with those Peers who have the incorrect ideology in order to find freedom and loopholes in practicing the Deen. We believe that we will be forgiven through these incorrect Peers.

On the other hand, when we come across those Mashãikh who are honest, we find them too strict and extreme.

The name of Allah ta'ala is very effective upon the hearts of our children. We should bring our children to a WaliAllah and request the WaliAllah to teach them Dhikr. The impact of this Dhikr will remain for many years and when the child performs Dhikr after his parents pass away, it becomes a source of light for his parents in the grave and their punishment will be lifted. They are granted the rewards of their child's Dhikr.

We should assign our children to a Sheikh. When parents make the effort of bringing the child to the Sheikh for the child's guidance, then Allah ta'ala begins to assist the parents.
We should also enable our wives to be connected with a WaliAllah and take Bay'ah.

Young children enjoy reciting the Dhikr Kalimaat. We should instruct our wives and daughters to tune in to the Dhikr gathering from home when it streams online. This is how they will be rectified and improved. They will learn the Kalimaat.

We should be concerned with regards to our own self-rectification, as well as our future generations. If we are correct, then they will be correct.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ

"O believers! Protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones.." [66:6]

The Quran has not instructed us to send our children out to Darul Ulooms or for the purpose of propagation. However, Allah ta'ala has instructed us to save ourselves and our families from the fire. First, the father must visit the Sheikh for his Tarbiyyah and thereafter, his child will naturally begin to learn. It is our duty to save our families.

If we rectify ourselves first and then send our children to these institutes, then our children will correct and reform those within the institutes too.

Without Sunnah, there is no Deen. If a child has not learnt the Sunnah way and only learns about his desires, then he can never become an Aalim.

We should not debate over the qualities and characteristics of the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophets, Messengers and the AwliyahAllah do not speak out of their own accord. Nabi ﷺ spoke upon the order of Allah ta'ala and not through their own desires. Allah ta'ala took responsibility for his speech so that the Creation do not become doubtful.

Nabi ﷺ has departed this world so his propagation has ended. However, propagation is required for his nation until Qiyaamah. Therefore, Allah ta'ala replaced the Messengers with his deputies, the honourable Mashãikh. They are selected people by Allah ta'ala and they are such people who have no assets. They are not concerned about worldly materialism. They spend their entire time benefiting the Creation of Allah ta'ala. The AwliyahAllah are fully capable of accumulating worldly assets, however, they choose not to.

The AwliyahAllah do the work of the Prophets. Just like the Prophets were tested, similarly, the AwliyahAllah are tested in this world through imprisonment, exile, mockery and abuse. Those who are mocked severely and put to trial, it is a sign that they are the true WaliAllah.

The AwliyahAllah who do the work of the Prophet ﷺ, they implement the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ and they are prepared for any challenges that come their way.
The AwliyahAllah are granted provisions according to their needs and if they a
ristance. Rather, they have complete reliance upon Allah ta'ala.

Angels would bring the revelation to the Prophet ﷺ and on the other hand, the Awliyah Allah are given inspiration by Allah ta'ala. Allah ta'ala grants him a light and a hint and guides him towards what he needs to say. Thereafter, that speech impacts the people around them.

Having said that, the words that he delivers, must be within the boundaries of Shariah. The AwliyahAllah speak according to the guidance of Allah ta'ala, but even then, we are reliant upon the Sunnah of Nabi ﷺ.

It could be that Shaytan attacks, thus, instead of embracing his words immediately, we should always weigh it against the scale of Shariah.

However, if we have a negative thought from Shaytan, then we should approach our Sheikh and request him to explain. He will guide us properly.

We should never feel confident regarding our knowledge and titles because the whispers of Shaytan make a quick negative impact upon a person.

We should fear Allah ta'ala, lest, we fall into punishment. We should ask Allah ta'ala to safeguard us through His mercy.

In the mornings, we recite the supplications of protection. We could fall into any type of sin, so we should not rely upon our faith. In reality, our Imaan is constantly in danger, so we should be careful. We should not trust our Imaan. We are saved from great Fitnah and attacks of Shaytan through reciting these great Kalimaat in the morning. These Kalimaat are the treasures for our Hereafter. We should value them!

My Sheikh advised me to teach the Deen to women as well as men whilst observing Purdah, as it is a great fitnah. The women cannot attend my company physically. Thus, our style of life and our actions should not go against the Shariah.

We have been permitted in Islam to marry outside our race, however, we must assess the belief of the potential spouse, otherwise, our faith may be at risk. Your spouses belief should match the correct Deen which you practice, otherwise, you will clash with your spouse will later on. Thus, you will be wrong for accepting that proposal.

Nowadays, we end up marrying the wrong spouse, making a compromise with our Deen in the process and we have false hopes that our spouse will improve later on in the marriage.

Shariah has not prohibited this, however, one has voluntarily placed himself in the wrong environment. In reality, when we see attraction, then we leave our Deen and make excuses. This is wrong. Everything should be done within the boundary of Shariah.

Even the students should help the Sheikh when they see wrong and they should constantly supplicate for the Sheikh.

Whenever a WaliAllah speaks, we should immediately repent whilst their words penetrate our heart. We should admit our mistakes and take the opportunity to repent because it could be that we will not be granted this opportunity again.

May Allah ta'ala allow us to implement these precious pearls. Ameen
