Jewels of Ramadhan 2025 - Episode 12

It is the last morning of the ten days of Mercy. After this, we do not know if we will receive them again. Time has flown by and these valuable ten days of Mercy have ended. Every moment of Ramadan is different. It could be that the angels of these ten days have descended to the heavens until the next Ramadan arrives.

Congratulations to those who practiced upon the Prophet's ﷺ narrations. Whomsoever practices these four things - abundant dhikr, abundant forgiveness, seeking Paradise and the freedom from Hellfire will receive the blessings of Ramadan as he ﷺ narrated.

During the next ten days, we must ensure that we do not repeat the mistakes we made whilst being overcome with tiredness, sleep, laziness and compulsion.

We must value each moment and not be heedless at all as the drops of mercy are now being descended upon our hearts. May it not be that Allah ta'ala's mercy is descending and we are unaware due to our heedless hearts. We should remain wary of this.

Those who have not sincerely repented with their hearts should do so. Allah ta'ala invites us to repent to Him. We should not waste this opportunity. We should not fear that if we repent we will repeat the sin. If He has enabled us to repent, He will allow us to repent again.

We should spend our time in abundant dhikr. The purpose of Ramadan is not worship, rather, it is to learn to abstain from sin. This is what we should emphasise upon and this is what Ramadan is making us practice.

A person sins when Shaytan makes that sin seem insignificant and he showcases the benefits of that sin. He sugar-coats the sin. In reality, every sin is not small and is worse than poison.

When a person sins, he should immediately repent three times and then the sin will disappear. If we make this a habit, we will be successful.

Now is the time of seeking. We are fortunate to have attended this gathering. Allah ta'ala's creation also perform dhikr with us and supplicate to Him.

We are all helpless and in need. Let us raise the hands of our heart and supplicate together. The creation will supplicate with us. Let us take bay'ah with a Sheikh, preferably one who is from the Naqshbandi order. Learn dhikr of the heart and you will attain not just Ramadan, but your entire life.

Sisters may take bay'ah over the telephone and brothers may take bay'ah in person.

May Allah ta'ala allow us to implement. Ameen
