Today's Bayaan

A person should supplicate to Allah ta'ala regarding the condition of his heart because a person's Deen is connected to his heart. Therefore, a person's Deen is dependent upon his heart. The entire Deen revolves around the heart. The state of a person's heart is not made apparent visibly. A person recites the Kalimah from the heart. He repents from the heart. A person holds love for Allah ta'ala in his heart. Hence, the heart is a great treasure. It is the most valuable organ.

Even though all our organs may be working correctly, they do not take us closer towards Allah ta'ala. However, the heart is such, that if it is rectified, it takes a person nearer to Allah ta'ala.

It is for this reason, Shaytan attacks a person's heart the most. Shaytan asked Allah ta'ala for respite in order to misguide Allah ta'ala's servants. Shaytan knew that if he controlled the heart of the human being, then the entire human would come under his control.

Regarding the heart, Nabi ﷺ said, "There is a piece of meat in the body. If it is correct, the whole body is correct."

The eye fails to prevent itself from immoral scenes. The stomach fails to be prevented from unlawful food. However, if the heart is corrected, it controls all the parts of the body and as a result, the limbs would never advance towards sin.

If we want to follow the Deen, be safe from hypocrisy and have our deeds accepted, then the solution is to correct and reform the heart. This is why the Awliyah Allah focus on the hearts and this is their work in the Khankah.

A person heart becomes soft and conditioned due to his Dhikr in seclusion and that's what causes his eyes to shed tears. This shows that Dhikr itself is a great blessing from Allah ta'ala. In Hadith, it is mentioned that a person who performs Dhikr in solitude and in this state, his eyes shed tears, Allah ta'ala will save him from the severities of Qiyamah, from the punishment of the grave and Allah ta'ala will grant him a place of protection under His throne.

The day of Judgement is equivalent to 50,000 years. No natural disaster of the world can compare to the punishment and torments of the Hereafter, so we should prepare for our Hereafter.

Nabi ﷺ mentioned that there will be a person on the day Qiyamah who will be sat on an illuminated throne. His face will be more illuminated than the glow of the moon. He will be content with his state and he will not feel any distress or sadness. His radiance will be seen by the whole world, whilst others will be drowning in their own sweat. People will ask, "Who is this person?" They will be told that he is the one who engaged in Allah ta'ala's Remembrance in abundance. It was due to this he was protected from the severity of the Hereafter.

Those who engage in Dhikr appear illuminated to those in the heavens. The rewards of Dhikr are hidden from us in this world, but we are given the glad tidings from the hadith. Thus, we should refrain from seeking the reward and pleasure of our Dhikr now. We should wait for the Hereafter because nothing can compare to the sorrows of the Hereafter and on that day, a person will be in bliss due to his Dhikr. The light of Dhikr will also allow us to cross the bridge safely in the Hereafter.

We cannot engage in abundant worship due to becoming old or busy, but we can take up the Dhikr of Allah ta'ala in abundance. The Dhikr of Allah ta'ala is a very easy action which requires no physical effort and has no conditions. The only condition is to learn Dhikr from a qualified Sheikh. It doesn't matter where you are in the world, you should learn Dhikr, be sincere, listen to your teacher and make your heart alive.

If a person adopts Dhikr, Allah ta'ala promises that he will be safe from the punishments of Qiyamah. Such a Dhaakir, will be considered a true observer of prayer, a true observer of Hajj and Allah ta'ala will raise him with complete character on the day of Qiyamah. Allah ta'ala will also wipe his slate clean.

Crying whilst supplicating attracts the Mercy of Allah ta'ala. The heart that learns to cry becomes a unique heart. Our hearts are so hard that we cannot cry whilst reciting the Quran. We don't cry when we raise our hands in supplication. If our hearts are sincere, we would weep whilst reciting the Quran. A person can only cry once his heart is rectified and if his heart isn't rectified, he is not able to cry. Instead, he should form the face of a crying person.

We should never waste a single moment in the company of a Wali Allah. If Allah ta'ala has sent a Sheikh to us, we shouldn't leave empty handed. We should be grateful and change ourselves immediately and improve. We should earn Paradise through them and immerse ourselves in Dhikr. Whoever wastes his time, has fallen into loss.

We should make a promise never to abandon Dhikr from today onwards. Shaytan will incite us through his whispers, but we should visit a Sheikh and be steadfast.

May Allah ta'ala allow us to implement.
