Two beautiful points mentioned by our beloved hazrat sahib

One is how Jibreel AS woke up the noble prophet ﷺ while he was resting at the house of Umme Haani RA, he (Jibreel AS) came and placed his lips on his blessed feet, the noble messenger felt the coolness of jibreels lips and opened his eyes, while he (Jibreel AS) had placed his lips on the blessed feet the pearls and diamonds of jibreel's crown were by the feet of Allah's nabi ﷺ
In other words, his leadership of angels is due to our Nabi ﷺ.

Second beautiful point is that the status of zamzam was upgraded by allowing it to touch the heart of Rasulullah ﷺ

Amongst the many Virtues of zamzam this is an additional virtue

Shab-e-Miraaj

The best way to prepare for death is by engaging in dhikr. Whichever earth Allah ta'ala's name is remembered upon, that earth becomes a portion of Paradise. Everything is based upon one's level of conviction. Whoever has certitude in this, certainly fulfils this practice and seeks out the dhikr gatherings. Allah ta'ala allows a person to progress according to a persons intentions and passion. Whatever we have passion towards Allah ta'ala increases us in it. This is how the Awliyah Allah are made, through their passion and keenness and their desire for Allah. Passion and love for Allah breaks every barrier and hindrance and makes every path easy. Allah ta'ala draws this person nearer to Him.

The greatest quality we find in dhikr is that it helps us gain closeness to Allah. When a person loves Allah and becomes His beloved, then Allah saves him from this world as a sick person is prevented from water. He removes the world from his heart, because if the world was a great place, He would grant it to His beloveds.

Death is close and nothing can prevent us from it, so supplicate to Allah saying, Oh Allah allow me to please you through my life whatever situation you put me in. Allow me to utilise my health and my body in attaining your nearness without disobeying you." This is the promise we must make every morning.

Every believer should give his heart to Allah alone and no one else. Give everything to the world but not your heart. Nowadays we give our heart first and that's why we have problems. Only give those things to people which are materialistic.

The Incident of M'iraaj - the meeting of Allah and His slave, is an example for us. Miraaj is for every Ummati so we can also attain the closeness of Allah through the same preparation which Nabi ﷺ underwent.

Nabi ﷺ's blessed heart was washed with Zam zam. It was cleansed so that he could bear the meeting with Allah. His heart was already blessed so this is the honour of the water of Zam Zam that it was enabled to touch it. So drink Zam Zam alot because it holds many blessings.

As soon as the Prophet ﷺ's heart was purified, he was able to witness Allah. And if his heart was purified then we are most definitely also in need of being purified. In fact, we require our entire lives to have our hearts purified and become capable of our meeting with Allah in the Hereafter.

We should also prepare ourselves to meet Allah by purifying our hearts via dhikr. Allah ta'ala desires to meet those people who implement the Sunnah, those women who have modesty, those who avoid usury, those who avoid oppressing others, those who worship, those who have great character, and those who feed the poor.

One does not attain Allah through worship. Rather one connects with Allah via the paths which He has defined. So we should take hold of those paths. We should begin implementing the Sunnah considering each Sunnah to be important. This is how our pious predecessors became Awliyah Allah. Regardless of the circumstance and the difficulties, they didn't discard the Sunnah.

The circumstances of the world are tests which elevate your status. Allah ta'ala will most definitely remove you from your trials and will not leave you in calamity for your entire life. We tend to give up the Sunnah after facing one calamity or obstacle. Persevere and Allah's help will arrive.

If you are not rectified then do not blame the Awliyah Allah, for first your intentions are required to be corrected. Connect yourself with a Sheikh and keep an intention that via this Sheikh you desire to leave the world and improve yourself. You want to love Allah and his Rasul ﷺ, otherwise you can engage in dhikr all lifelong and it wont benefit you at all unless you have this solid intention. Wallahi, with this intention, Allah ta'ala will make you His beloved.

The event of M'iraaj denotes a great miracle of the Prophet ﷺ. A miracle is something which is beyond a persons intellect and logic. Thus, we should avoid trying to use our intellect to understand it. Allah ta'ala enabled these events and allowed them to occur and none can question Him.

M'iraaj wasn't a minor event. It was confirmation that Nabi ﷺ was the leader of all the prophets and this was announced to the universe. The Baytullah in Makkah becoming the Kabah was the second confirmation.

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَىٰ بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلًا مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ

"Glorified be He Who took His servant for a Journey by Night from Al-Masjid Al-Haram.." [17:1]
Another thing we learn is that the events of Laylatul Miraaj are beyond our comprehension which is why those who follow their own logic, doubt and reject these events. That's why Allah ta'ala said 'سبحان' , because He allowed these unique scenes to occur. He has full authority and control. He is without a flaw and is capable of all. Surah Isra is the only surah to start with سبحان and here Allah ta'ala praises Himself. When you see something good you say subhaanAllah. So here Allah said سبحان الله upon witnessing the groom of M'iraaj ﷺ.

There are 2 miracles of the Prophet ﷺ which will continue until qiyamah. One is the Quran. 2) M'iraaj.
Allah has prepared M'iraj for every believer. Upon Nabi ﷺ's return, he was given the gift of M'iraaj which were the fifty prayers. Allah ta'ala's law cannot be altered, yet ﷺ's request was not rejected by Allah which means that when we pray five prayers, we actually gain the reward of fifty prayers. Likewise, when you abandon prayer, you waste fifty.

You're only worthy of meeting Allah if you have prepared yourself through prayer, otherwise you will be deprived. When we prepare for prayers, we should prepare as if we're preparing for M'iraaj so adorn yourself with the sunnah appearance and attire and perform a great wudu according to the Sunnah. Every prayer connects a person to his Lord so intend to prepare for the meeting with Allah each time. The more sincere your preparation is, the more you will experience and witness and come closer to Allah.

A person cannot be prepared for the meeting with Allah without the dhikr of heart learnt from a Sheikh. Our main objective of life is our meeting with Allah. This is not a game. This is a big chapter of life which Allah ta'ala is preparing us for. We are not minor human beings. We have a great objective of life and have great destinies.

Go to a Sheikh and learn dhikr from him. Spend time in his company. Purify yourself. Soon, you won't be satisfied with five prayers. It wont fulfil your hunger. Your feet will swell and your day will end, but your prayers wont cease. Allah has given these resources so we can prepare our meeting with Him and that's our objective of life. We don't practice for reward because that would mean we are following our nafs. We prepare for the hereafter to see Allah and this is our ultimate objective of life. Rectification of the heart is the worship which gives us the objective of life. This is where dhikr comes in use.

We meet Allah through Tazkiyah of the heart and our heart is purified through the dhikr prescribed by a Wali Allah. It definitely has an impact on you, but only when your intention is correct.

May Allah ta'ala grant us the ability to implement.
