Two Habits that will Make you Beloved of Allah Abdullah ibn Abbas Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that once Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, there was a tribe called Abul Qais, so Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam went to this tribe, he was passing by it or he visited them and amongst this tribe Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave a brief speech to them and in that speech he mentioned a few words. It was a great message which Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave and it was a great glad tiding for them. It was great news. He said, إِنَّ فِيكَ خَصْلَتَيْنِ يُحِبُّهُمَا اللهُ : الْحِلْمُ، وَالأَنَاةُ He said to this group, there are 2 qualities within you and so great are your habits that Allah ta'ala loves you. This hadith has been narrated in 2 books, Bukhari and Muslim. This is a very important hadith. Because a man is made up of a combination of qualities and habits. Man has bad qualities within him as well as good qualities. Often the bad qualities within us are dominant and we are weak in good qualities, we lack in the good qualities. And this is our greatest failure. But we also have bad qualities and bad habits within us. One is, for example by chance you say something, but one is, when something becomes into a habit. For example, If someone swears regularly, we say that he has a habit of swearing. If someone lies regularly, "I'm just coming", it is nothing, but it means he has formed a habit of lying and due to this he lies over the smallest of things. He will certainly be nosey and look at other people.  What is he doing? What is his business? He interferes in someone else's matters. It has nothing to do with him, so what is this?  This is the habit. You're sitting down and maybe there's nothing but you start talking bad and negative about somebody but you have nothing in relation with that person. It is nothing to do with you. This is known as a habit. This is such a bad habit and a person becomes good or bad due to his qualities and his habit . If you say this person is a good person, then how is he good? Is it his appearance or face that looks nice? Is he handsome? Does that make him good? No. You will say a person is good because his habits are good. His actions are good. When we go to his house, he greets us with love. He asks us for tea and water or something to drink. What is this? This is a good habit. The other person, we go to his house, he doesn't even ask us. He doesn't even ask, "do you want some tea or something to drink." What is this? This is the habit. We don't note these things but our entire lives depend on our habits. Our lives depend on it. Even today we are mentioning that tribe and until Qiyamah that tribe will continue to be mentioned. Its not a minor thing that Allah's Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam praises someone with his blessed tongue. SubhaanAllah The glad tiding he gave is that whoever has these same qualities as that tribe then they will also become the beloved of Allah. What a great point. This is the objective that today we should also generate these qualities and these habits, so we can also receive the good news for these rewards too. We should analyse everything. We observe our clothes, is my beard correct? Is my amamaah correct? We ensure our appearances are correct. Am I wearing the right jacket, the right clothing, isn't it? Even within our homes, the sofa is broken, let's fix it, the wardrobe is not correct. This is defective, let's fix this. We observe everything don't we? But we never stop to consider our habits. Are they good or bad? There is a sign for this. If people are closer to you and they like you, and they meet you, then consider your habits to be good. If people remain distant from you, they pass by from the side, "oh you're here," and they just quickly wander of. They don't stay with you. They don't ask you about much. Less people and less people communicate with you. Less people greet you. They ask you to mind your own business but that's not what it actually means. It means, you don't have goodness within you for people to desire to come and meet you. When a person's habits are dirty then he is always frowning, always dirty and then people automatically don't go next to him. "Oh he's disrespectful, even when we speak to him, he gives a dirty or a stern answer back." So It is extremely important and necessary for one to keep in check of his habits and control them. And if he doesn't then he could be falling into the trap of Jahannam on many occasions while he is unaware. Due to his dirty actions, people are continuing to praise him. He never looked in the mirror of consciousness and reality. Just like there is a mirror on the wall and Allah ta'ala has given us a mirror and that is called the reality. So we should reflect that why don't people shake my hand, they don't meet me, I talk to people but they don't speak to me properly. I ask for help and they don't want to know. But for those who have good habits, if you're standing on the road, four people will ask you, "where do you want to go? Shall I drop you?" Isn't this the case? So the person who has bad habits, they don't ask him. "Let him get wet in the rain this stupid man, if we stay with him for 2 minutes he is going to say something wrong or dirty, he is going to backbite regarding someone." So such an important thing but Ramadan doesn't cover it, how can that be? Tazkiyah and a person who has this defect then the meaning of Ramadan is لعلكم تتقون. The one who doesn't have good habits within him cannot be a Muttaqi. Regardless of how many acts of worship he engages in. He will only be a good person when he has good habits within him. There are people who have a habit of doing bad and others who have a habit of doing good. The people outside will be happy with me and the people in his house will be happy with him.  Sometimes I see within the homes amongst the families, the father and son haven't met each other for many days. There is no greeting one another. He comes home and the mother and father are desperate, "my son hasn't come back yet, lets talk to him, let me phone him." So this happens within the house. Due to habits, the children say, "oh the father is only going to come home and tell us off, he is only going to talk wasteful. He is only going to argue with me about something. So what's the point coming home?" Then they cut off from the father. And the mother says when they are angry, "it's better that he doesn't come to the house it is good so that we're not connected with him." So what is this? What is inside? He is praying salaah, keeping the fast, everything, reciting, Ramadan hasn't come for this. I've told you this always, I've said it in advance. لعلكم تتقون I have come to change you. You must change yourself and if you don't change yourself then you will have wasted your Ramadan. So what a beautiful thing Allah's Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has told us. إِنَّ فِيكَ خَصْلَتَيْنِ Not many qualities but there are 2 qualities within you. يُحِبُّهُمَا اللهُ Allah loves you. The tribe that was being addressed at the time, are being mentioned and remembered today. So if today we adopted these qualities SubhaanAllah, would Allah not love us too? Would the angels not love such a person whom Allah loves. Would the entire creation not love the one whom the angels love? Would the one whom the Creation loves not enter Jannah? Tell me. If the creation love a person, they don't do it for any reason, "oh he's sick, oh he's sad, let's do dua for him." He is such a great person, he is such a pious person, he has great qualities. Every person raises their hands in dua for such a fantastic person. If you ring someone in India and you were told, "such and such person has passed away." He passed away!? He was such a great individual. We will request the masaajid to make dua for him. Does this not happen today? Are duas not made like this in our masaajid for a person who is distant? So why do we waste our life? Ramadan is here so we should ponder over our own habits. We don't even know what habits are bad and which are good. We just keep fast upon fast. No no. لعلكم تتقون When we depart from Ramadan we must depart as a new human being, yes? A fantastic human being. Where will we receive these things tell me, tell me? Where will we receive these things after Ramadan? In the company of our Sheikh. We learn the qualities from there. If one finds no change or improvement within himself after spending time in his Sheikh's company, then how can he be a Mureed? He can't be. I remember an incident of Hadhrat Mawlana Ashraf Alif Thanwi Rahmatullahi Alayh. He was a great person. A Wali Allah. He was a physician, spiritual doctor. He was a Sheikh. He had many mureeds, students. He would give tarbiyyah. People would come to take bay'ah from him to become his mureeds. A person came to see him and he was a high ranking officer. A government officer. And educated. Big degree. He came to take bayah from Mawlana Ashraf Alif Thanwi Rahmatullahi Alayh, he gave him the bay'ah and he did taubah and he started coming and going regularly and he started to sit in the company of his Sheikh and mashaaAllah that person his life changed. He was a big officer in the police or the admin so he had committed a lot of wrong with people. He consumed this persons money. That persons money, hit this person. So he made a list first and foremost. He made a complete list and after this what did he do? And this is written. You can study this. Every single person who he oppressed or wronged, someone's money he took. He went to everyone's door and they said, "you?" He said, "please listen to me I'm not the same person anymore, I have taken bay'ah."  SubhaanAllah. He said I have fasted and come, im not that same person. I have changed." This is when a person becomes awake and alive inside. He said, "this would be a drama if I go to my Sheikh and I haven't improved myself, that would just be a drama, a game I'm playing that everyone is doing bay'ah let me do it." No. There is a purpose for this brothers and a great purpose that one can't even imagine. That a person prepares himself and goes to someone and says to him, "give me bay'ah," whether its a man or a woman. That is a great journey that person is embarking upon. Such a great task he is fulfiling, such an action which the noble companions also fulfilled. All of the worst individuals of the world, those who buried their daughters alive, the Sahabah ikraam, they went to the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and said, "nothing in the world can take this bad action of ours away from us. We have come to you to improve ourselves." Allah. Then in the company of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Can you imagine what they became and the colour rubbed off on them. Why? Because everything comes from Allah. Who does it come from? All things come from Allah. So to spread the goodness and to rectify the people, Allah ta'ala prepared that, "I will create such an Insaan whom people will approach and come to and sit with him and they will become improved." And this will continue until Qiyamah. Then people were created. Just like my Sheikh. SubhaanAllah. I witnessed with my own eyes, thieves and fraudsters, great sinners and those who decieved others, come to his company and accepted that they were like this. Many I have seen. There was one person from Pakistan, maybe he will hear this, we meet with love and affection. You know people who play volleyball. He was the captain of the Pakistan volleyball team. So tell me what he must've been like? He was very handsome and the whole world knew him. He was an internationally recognised person. He was handsome. So after some days he asked, "what happens here, who are these people?" They said, "these are Darveish." I'm mentioning an event which happened infront  my eyes. Look how one's company can impact a person. So they told him that he was a Sheikh. He asked, "what do they do?" They said, "hes a good man, come and greet him." He replied, "no no i'm fine i'll just pray salaah I dont need company, he will tell me to start praying and do this and that." The friend said, "no no, he won't say anything to you." He said, "no i'll come tomorrow." He said, "okay fine." So purposely he went the other way and the friend reminded him of his promise. Because good friends are like this. This is called a friend who loves his friend and has care for him. Not a worldly friend. That if you're good and you know that person, whoever you love, then somehow bring someone else to that good company. For example you run a business, you have a shop, you're working in an office, you have friends and acquaintances don't you? So if you have started to come to this gathering, then gradually persuade them to come too. And when you have the intention to rectify and improve someone else, then Allah ta'ala will develop a light inside you. Remember my words. Allah ta'ala assists. InshaaAllah you will encourage that person and he will then come. You have fulfilled the right of your friendship. Tomorrow you will be questioned, that "you were a good person yourself, could you not rectify your friend. You were in contact with him, you could've just invited him casually?" That come on Thursday night. But there is nothing like this. "Oh look we sat down." "Look there's no problem. Don't worry he won't put Amaamah on your head, we won't force you. No beard, nothing. Just dhikr takes place there. Do dhikr at least." So then he invited his friend and he pushed him and brought him along. And SubhaanAllah it was light upon light. SubhaanAllah Allah's Mercy and Grace and this is what a person attains when he goes to the gathering of the Wali Allah. So he came and became such a saint that you cannot even imagine. He became pious, he follows Shariah, all his previous life ended. I know him myself mashaaAllah. He was given a great post in PIA and he has alot of love and mashaaAllah he comes to the plane to receive when I depart. So this is the connection. And it's a surprise that the same man, how did he change and improve? Jumuah didn't change him, speeches didn't change him, lectures didn't change him but, "one moment in the company of the Wali Allah." One second a person sits in the company of the Awliyah Allah, what changes occur? Not externally but the world changes upside down. It fluctuates suddenly. "He embraced me and then he went away but my life it changed upside down." That person goes and within seconds his life turns upside down. He was a liar, he became honest. He used to speak negatively about people, he started to love people.  He used to quarrel, argue and fight, now he's started to love people. He was famous for causing enmity between people, now he is famous for creating friendships. SubhaanAllah. This his how men and women change. If these changes haven't come within you then whose fault is it? The Wali Allah's? We like to fault him. "Oh this is nothing, we are not even benefiting. Its been so many days that that we have been going." Some say, "it's been a week, some say its been a month, some say its been a year, some say its been 5 years, some say its been 10 years, it hasn't benefitted us." "I did dhikr and come and its not even benefitting me." No your intentions were not correct my brother. You didn't have the desire to gain anything from there. He is such a person that if you go to him and sit with him, im not talking about myself, I'm talking about my Hadhrat sahib, don't think it is me. Hadhrat sahib was such a personality that when you sat in his company, then even the earth you sat on, to the seven layers below, the earth did dhikr of Allah. I tell you the truth. So imagine. Wherever he used to sit personally, the seven layers down that crust of the earth used to do dhikrullah. Hadhrat Fazal Ali Quraishi Rahmatullahi Alayh was once on a horse, my Sheikh's Sheikh and mashaaAllah there was a faqeer running the horse mashaAllah and the horse knows who is riding on me. We dont know but the horse, what did it do? The horse while it was travelling, its hoof, it struck someone and Hadhrat Fazal Ali Quraishi Rahmatullahi Alayh was on the horse. And he was a Wali Allah. So he hit the horse and said , "you have done wrong because you hit the human being." So then he descended from the horse and went to the faqeer. The one who had been hit. The poor soul. Look at the difference in the improvement of a human being. He went to him and said, "I seek forgiveness baba, i'm a weak person and I dont know how my horse hit you by mistake. And its hoof hit your leg. Can I pay a fine or a compensation for this and I also seek your forgiveness." The man said , "tell me, who are you?" He said, "I'm no one, I'm just a traveller going to Miskinpur, I'm on a journey." He said, "are you the man from Miskinpur." He said, "yes I'm from Miskinpur." He said SubhaanAllah, "I heard about you in gatherings and I had no interest in them. But whoever's horse is like this that its leg hits me and all my lataaif are alive inside with the name of Allah, then what must you be!? For the sake of Allah I ask you for forgiveness. I want to come to your court, give me bay'ah and teach me how to do taubah." So if this is the condition that intentions are not correct when we go to the Wali Allah, we count the years, some ten years, some five years. Correct your intentions and submit yourself fully to the teacher. When you go to have a bath what do you? Take your clothes off, you take your vest off and you stand there naked. Then you put the shower on or pour water upon yourself. You have completed submitted yourself to the water because you have taken everything off for it. Then you pour water upon yourself and then the water says, "go you have become pure, go and pray. Read Jumuah Salaah. Read Quran," the water says to him. SubhaanAllah. "I have cleaned you." Why? Because if you had kept your clothes on you would've remained dry, but you submitted yourself to me completely." Say SubhaanAllah. So when you go to a sheikh and you do taubah, then you should assign and submit yourself completely to the Sheikh. In total submission to him. "I have come my teacher, purify me. "Just like you go under the water and it purifies you." Unique examples I am saying now. Where will we get these gatherings? Alhamdulillah 15 days of Ramadan have gone by. There are words, you'll find other places. But here you will find unique statements. Unique learnings with alot of benefit which I attain. So we were talking about qualities and habits. How can it be that for that thing which a person's entire Islam depends upon, Allah hasn't prepared and made arrangements for it? The more it is needed, the more easy and attainable Allah subhaanahu wa ta'ala makes it. All we need to do is crush our desires and Shaytaan and go to a Wali Allah and submit ourselves to him in total submission. "Yes whatever you say I will do that." "Leave this? Okay I have left it. Finish." A person came to me once, he was full of errors and defects and he requested to do Taubah. You know here our jalsa, our annual gathering, I'm referring to that. So I sat down for a little while. Good people come there mashaaAllah. Poor souls. You know some people they are stuck in the dunya and our brothers they pull them to the Ijtima mashaaAllah. They trap them and bring them and say, "come to the ijtima." Good brothers. They do good work of the deen. They knew that if the Sheikh comes into his life, then he will obtain the colour. SubhaanAllah. The Naqshbandi Ijtima is not some minor Ijtima. And the work of the deen that you do, you make effort it's not a minor khidmat, service that you are doing. I tell you this now. This khdimat, that on the day of judgement then, do Khidmat open heartedly in the world my brothers. Dont be a miser. Be a khaadim of the teacher and invite the people. Dont hide yourself and say "No no i can't do this i'm busy. Tell someone else to do it." SubhaanAllah. Go forward. Run after it. Remain awake at the night. My job is to explain to you, if you understand or don't understand that's your problem. But you won't just get deen from going to the Masjid and you just sit there. Allah ta'ala has opened beautiful doors for opportunities to do His work. Will you come to the Ijtimaa? Say inshaaAllah. Again this year we will have the Ijtima. The annual conference. So what was I saying? So that person came to meet me and mashaAllah this is the enjoyment of Taubah. I was enjoying myself at that time and I knew that he does this, he does this, he does this sin. So I said have you come to do taubah? He said yes. I said to him, "will you do this?" He said "I've done it." He didn't say "i will do it," he said "i've done it." SubhaanAllah. I said will you leave this thing? He said , "I've left it." I thought, is this person  doing drama or is he playing with me? The ijtima, the nur of the mashaikh of our silsila was emitted, from Hadhrat Abu Bakr Radiyallahu Anhu to my Hadhrat sahib, the whole chain of the teachers, that light had appeared in the Ijtima. I said, "are you speaking the truth?" "He said yes I'm speaking the truth." I said,  "do you know what I'm talking about?" He said "yes I'm speaking I'm honestly." So I said, "will you then leave this sin?" He said "I've already left it." I said "will you wear Amaamah?" He said "I've worn it already." "Beard" He said "I've kept the beard." He didn't say 'I'll keep the beard,' he said "I have kept the beard already." I said to him, "yaar, it looks like I need to take bay'ah with you. You've became a shaykh totally mashaaAllah. So quickly you have advanced mashaaAllah. May Allah accept your taubah! And he stuck to his word totally. We are human at the end of the day and we commit sins. When a person comes with strength and conviction, then Shaytan and nafs does knock that person about afterwards, but the human being comes with the right intention, then I have total conviction that he will never fail afterwards. He will come back again and he will fight with his desires. Then he fights again. This is the principle for the human being. So we go to the company of Wali Allah to change and improve our qualities. Are we the same as before or have we changed? Tasbih in our hand but our mouth is the same. We talk bad about people. Mawlana Ashraf Alif Thanwi Rahmatullahi Alayh, the person who took bay'ah with him, the officer , he went to every door and returned the money back to all those people. Then he went to Hadhrat sahib and said, "I think my Taubah has been accepted." Hadhrat sahib said, "your taubah has not just been accepted but I will also give you Khilaafah aswell!' He said its not necessary that someone sits in my company for 10 years, you've done that action in 2 days which other people don't even do in 10 years. SubhaanAllah. The real intention one must have is to change, to improve oneself. Someone changes quickly. Someone keeps grinding away, 15 years and he counts the years and says, "Hadhrat sahib." But some people are such that they went and immediately their transformation took place. It doesn't take long to change and improve. Say SubhaanAllah. Now let's move on. What was the 2 qualities which the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to the Banu Qais that you have 2 qualities. Will you do these thing? Will we bring those habits in our life? InshaaAllah. The beautiful habits and qualities. What was the hadith I was saying? إِنَّ فِيكَ خَصْلَتَيْنِ يُحِبُّهُمَا اللهُ Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told the tribe two habits. Abdullah ibn Abbas Radiyallahu Anhu is narrating the Hadith. What are the 2 habits? الْحِلْمُ، وَالأَنَاةُ The interpretation in Urdu you might not be able to understand. حلم, humbleness and تمکنت, dignity. They both have similar meanings. Maybe In Gujrati there are no words otherwise I would've told you the 2 words. In English there are words that I can explain to you. Humbleness softness, mildness. SubhaanAllah. Say SubhaanAllah. A tender person, a soft-natured person. A forebearing person. Beautiful person. Excellent person. What a different with a tender, soft-hearted person, when you sit with him then your heart will feel happy. When you sit with someone whose heart is hard, like a rock, then you leave with your heart hardened also. That's the history which tells us this. The bigger the mufti, the bigger the Aalim, and if he's passed through the journey of Tazkiyah, then with love and tenderness and soft heartenedness he will explain to you the masalah, the solution. Some Mufti's you approach them and obviously they have knowledge. "What is it? This is not a maslaah, go somewhere else. Do this, this is the solution." The person says, "I haven't even finished informing you of the problem, you haven't even told me the solution." Some other people are so tender and soft and they sit with you and they explain to you and they'll even solve your other problems at the same time. There is a difference because they have done Tazkiyah. They have softness within them. The biggest jinn and ghost inside a person is that person himself. He has so many diaseses and sicknesses that he is blackened inside like coal. He becomes a jinn inside. Yes it becomes the fountain of evil and we don't even try to eradicate that. So Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned, "You have softness and dignity within you." You are soft natured. Who is a حليم person. Lets listen to this too. The real حليم. He is such a person who doesn't fight and argue. He doesn't even know about arguing and quarrelling. He doesn't know about how to debate, whether its about the wife, children the house, grandfather, uncle, this argument, that argument. Quarreling is not even in his book. What do you need to do to become a man like that? Who will be like that who has never quarrelled with anyone? There is a quality حلم Which means that he never argues or quarrels or debates. And if he doesn't dispute then there's a quality within him, then listen to the point. If there is no fighting or quarrelling then you have to sacrifice something and it's for this reason he attains Allah's love. What do you have to sacrifice? It means you sacrifice and give up your own right. Annihilate your own ego. That "you're right brother im wrong." Someone is disrespecting you, your wife, your uncle, your friend, you know that they are committing excess and injustice with you but you are so soft and humble that you say, "no it's me who is wrong. I ask for forgiveness." SubhaanAllah. This is a great habit and quality and this is a great Ibaadah. Let me tell you this. This is a very great worship. This is لعلكم تتقون. This is Ramadan Shareef. SubhaanAllah. Let me see how many people fast and graduate from Ramadan like this. Some will be counting his quran, some will be counting their Umrah, some will be counting their hajj, someone will be counting their I'tikaaf, someone will be counting their Sujood. No one will be counting this, that subhaanAllah today I became so soft and tender and humble that I will not fight and quarrel with anyone regardless what happens. That home will never have fights, that home will never have divorces, his children can never be disobedient, I guarantee you, if there is tenderness and softness. Why? A hadith comes to my mind. A Beautiful hadith. I remembered this hadith at the right moment. The hadith is, if someone has softness within him, then Allah's Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is saying this, it is narrated from him, that goodness will definitely come to that person. SubhaanAllah. Goodness will definitely come to that person. It cannot be that goodness won't come to him because he will never have that mound of negativity inside him. He will become the fountain of goodness. Another hadith i will share with you and listen to the rewards for it too so we feel encouraged to implement it. Hadhrat Abu Amaan presented this hadith, he said, "I heard myself that Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, that Allah said, on the banks of paradise, SubhaanAllah, imagine, where is Allah's Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam taking us, imagine the scene, he is sat on the earth but where is he taking us? Not into jannah. But he said to the border, to the outskirts of jannah. SubhaanAllah. Imagine jannah. What is the selection of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam's description. We hear about jannah that we will go into jannah, this level, that place, the Quran is full, but no where do we see a verse where the banks of Jannah have been described. Say SubhaanAllah. Unique hadith. That the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said i'll take you to the corner of jannah. I'll tell you another point which has come to my heart. That every man likes that he gets a house in the outskirts. In a nice open area and spend big money to buy a big house. But such a place that very few people go to the outskirts. Why are we going to go to the outskirts there is nothing there. SubhanAllah. But Allah's Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, everyone in jannah will be in the middle but Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, my Jannati, they will be here. SubhaanAllah. More of them. Outskirts of jannah. Imagine the outskirts of jannah. Say SubhaanAllah again.  Yes so do you have the desire and passion to go there? Don't lie and don't argue and fight with your wife, start this from today. Stop arguing with people. How? Listen to the hadith where Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, on the outskirts of jannah, i'll give them houses. What houses? No tax, no council tax, no electricity running out, no impurities, because it is the house of Jannah and who will give that house? The habib of Allah, sallallahu alayhi alayhi sallam sallam. So it will be a special built house for the people of Allah on the outskirts of paradise. I'm giving you the meaning of this hadith, so I'm taking you to the scene of Jannah, to the outskirts where nobody can get there. So will people come there or not. But yes it will be in Jannah. Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to the outskirts of jannah, pure and clean place of jannah. The more that you go out far from the inner city, when you go to the suburbs, there is more freshness and good feelings there. So Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said i'll give you a house on the outskirts of paradise and permanent house. No mortgage. No rent. Nobody will be able to give you the eviction notice and there will be palaces and the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, Allah's habib is giving this house. He said "ill give you this." He said further, 'I guarantee." I give zamaanat. He said I guarantee. Now he who is guaranteed, then tell me the heavens and the earth, no power can take that back or prevent that. In English what do we call Zamaanat? Gurantee. Who is giving the guarantee? Who? The Prophet of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. A theif for example who has stolen or committed murder, goes infront of the judge and someone says I give you the guarantee that give him the bail, I give you the guarantee and the judge says okay I accept it. I'll give him bail. A hundred thousand pounds. Yes and the thief that is granted bail. Allah's Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, what is he saying? My guarantee. Personal guarantee. Now you have my guarantee. No power of the world can prevent you from paradise. But if this habit is inside you, which habit? That you will not argue and fight. You will forsake your right, but you won't argue and fight." He said, "okay i'll leave my right." That you're arguing over a house, why is it going to murder or fighting, going to court, here you take it, here's the key. You take the house. Is there any Mujaahid like this today? No. No one like this today. There's a line going to Umrah Saudi Arabia, but there's no line here for this Hadith. Ssy SubhaanAllah. There should be a line here aswell. In the Khankah there should be a line here aswell. "Hadhrat Sahib give me bay'ah, give me bay'ah, taubah," those people will have houses, they're constructing them right now on the outskirts of paradise. So my brothers, beautiful this hadith this was. We could say much more but Dhikr would be left out and time is going. Did you enjoy today's bayaan? SubhaanAllah. What a bayaan. If we do the smallest of actions, that is in your control. Wife is fighting and you say, "okay my wife you are right." Yes there will be difficulties in compromising. She will say, "see now the Sheikh, he has improved him! Now he's left his argument." Everyone will say this. They will throw shoes at you. But Allah's Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says, "I guarantee you my friend, that don't worry about your rights, its just a few days in the world, then they will be proud of you, envious of you, you did action due to my guarantee to you." SubhaanAllah. Arguments finished. Divorces finished. Yes quarreling finished. Going to court finished. Arguing over houses finished? Why? Because you imprinted the guarantee of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam upon your heart, "take everything." My house is there waiting for me in paradise. I won't fight with you he says. I won't fight with you she says. Take whatever you want, I have no care. Just stay happy." And then they'll criticise him that "oh, look at him, he's left everything, he's left everything in the world, look at this man, look at this woman." And every man will say to him, he got the reward for this reason. Not that "I did a big action for Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and im pestering people and giving pain to people." He's a waster. Is that where you get reward from? You should stand. Whatever Mujaahadah I have to do, I have done a bargain transaction, whatever difficulty comes, I will not do a U-turn, I will not fight and argue with people, that's a big guarantee for us if we stop arguing and fighting. May Allah grant us the tawfeeq. And the final point, let me explain to you. What month are we sitting in? What has the month come to teach us? To make us Muttaqi? And you can't become a Muttaqi until you adopt these qualities. Ramadan itself has said that I've come to make you a Muttaqi. Ramadan is our Sheikh currently. Shall I tell you about it this? I'm telling you about the hadith of Ramadan. I have a different style of sharing hadith. A different and unique methodology so we can understand in a simple way. So what is this hadith I was presenting to you. Ramadan says ive come to teach you how to be a Muttaqi, silly people. Let me tell you. Leave argumentation. You understand? When someone is arguing with you in Ramadan you get angry at that time of the evening, everyone starts to become frustrated,  the one who smokes begins to get angry because he wants to take his cigarettes. So he starts arguing with everyone for no reason. "You bumped into me. No I didn't bump into you." He gets a little fidgety. So its a dangerous time so there are great possibilities of fighting and arguing. But he is scared that if I say or do something wrong then my fast will be wasted. This is the definition of fasting isn't it brothers? The definition of fast is that If I act disrespectfully, punch someone or fight with someone, then my fast is wasted. Here a word has been presented in hadith that when someone argues with you, what should you say? You say to them, "I'm fasting brother." SubhaanAllah "please leave me alone" will he leave him? He will leave him. Why? Because he says, I am fasting, I want to become a Muttaqi, I want to complete my fast so im going from here, I don't want to argue with you." Whoever doesn't do this. Then the hadith is explaining to you that if you during the fast you have this experience then you just say one word, one "im fasting." And this is Taqwa. That when anyone annoys or frustrates you, then like you protected your fast, also protect your Taqwa once the fast is over. That "I'm righteous now, I have taken bay'ah from so and so. I will not fight with you." Just as you protected your fast and you referred to your state of fasting in order to protect your fast, then in the same way, then in order to protect your deen, your Imaan and your bayah, when someone tries to argue and fight with you, say to them, "you owed me, but I will give it to you, why?" Because I have taken bay'ah with so and so Sheikh, and I dont want him to dishonoured." SubhaanAllah. He says, "I may be dishonoured, but I don't want to dishonour my Sheikh. I'm a Muttaqi." He has been protected hasn't he? He has protected himself from arguing hasn't he? Why? Because he would be ashamed that tomorrow if I go infront of my Sheikh, and he says 'here this money,' even if I'm on the truth but I don't even want that someone does wrong and my Sheikh gets the pain. People go and ask him. Many people ask me. Even the other day I had just finished salaah and my dhikr and someone said to me, "please give my money." I said "money from who?" He said "that person." I said "me?" He said "he's your mureed. This person he lives there in Manchester." I said "my mureeds, theyre all here they're all mureeds. They haven't come here to give money, to get money." He said, "you are there Sheikh and how can it be , this much money he has consumed and I came here." Then I said "its fine what you're saying but if you wish that I give his money then I dont have that much money, otherwise id give to you." He said, "I made a mistake, its not my mistake and its not his mistake. He said maybe its your mistake." Anyway, with that, I have no contract with a mureed that you do business and he does business and you take a loan then i give the loan and I repay back. This happens regularly isn't it? But what happened there is that the mureed who does this, the student who doesn't even have sense, then what type of a mureed is that person. If he didn't argue or quarrelling for which he came and if he took away his own right and said I'm bay'ah with that Sheikh and I went to improve myself look at the difference. Mawlana Ashraf Ali Thanwi Rahmatullahi Alayh he came to take bayah and 3 days he attained Khilaafah. 3 days. This is the change that is needed. Do you understand my point? So what do we say? I'm bay'ah with that Sheikh. Okay okay, you are one to give me the loan, I know you're wrong but you take the loan, I dont want to spoil my bay'ah. Yes my bay'ah will be spoilt then my life will be spoilt and my Hereafter because we have read that if you lose your Sheikh then remember this unique statement is coming. If you lose your Sheikh then you lose Allah's Rasul sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And if you lose Allah's Rasul sallallahu alayhi wa sallam then you lose Allah subhaanahu wa ta'ala. This is a very big point. So be extremely cautious in this because this connection is with Allah. So have the holiness and respect in this relationship. What great advice alhamdulillah. You're on a great journey and Jannah is waiting for you im telling you. Remember my words. It is not that easy. أم حسبتم ان تدخل الجنة Do you think you will enter Jannah with ease? So such a holy month and such a great deen and such a great journey you're on. Have respect for it. Dont let it be that this word reaches my Sheikh and then he has a feeling because If he's gone, then my deen has gone, my Imaan has gone. But we dont have certainty in these words. Tomorrow on the day of judgement when the decision comes in the grave, these points will make the decision that how sincere were you in this path and how sincere were you with your Sheikh. How much of a lie were you? You went to recite the name of Allah and then you used to do bad actions. You didn't have the respect and the correct approach. That That's why I reprimanded you to inform you that you don't have respect of how to sit infront of your Sheikh. That's why I reprimanded. Tell me. So how many people are sat infront of me. One, two, three, four, five, these are the people against manners and respect. This is against respect. This is against respect.  This is not respect. That a person is sat here like this spread out infront of the Sheikh. We never even thought like this. We thought that whenever a person goes to his teacher. Hadhrat Uthmaan Damaani Rahmatullahi Alayh said, "his bone came out of his back that's how much he bowed. SubhaanAllah. Because they are the Sheikh and if you don't have the manners for the Sheikh, this is respect for Allah. Because you're going to seek Allah's name. However much manners you have for the teacher upon the journey towards Allah, the more manners you adopt to arrive to Allah, the more respect and this is Mujaahadah. This is the desire. If you have the desire to sit infront of the Sheikh and to receive faiz then sit in that way that you're supposed to sit. If your leg is broken and you have a stick then sit at the back. Sit at the back. And don't be disrespectful. I'm explaining to you this point. Yes. But he says this many days I went to Hadhrat sahib ive got no benefit. This hasn't happened. We don't count out things. We dont even know how to sit infront of the Sheikh. We don't even know the manners of how to speak. When the Quran regards to the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentions regaridng talking and Allah says in the Quran don't speak disrespectfully infront of my Nabi. لا ترفعوا أصواتكم فوق صوت النبي The Sahabah who were great noble companions and a small minor point is being taught to them about the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that, "beware how dare you raise your voices." And what is raising your voices? We don't even know. The same habit and tradition is coming today and until Qiyamah you must also have respect for the Wali of Allah and respect them just like the Sahabah were taught that you have to have adab with them. SubhaanAllah. You have to take out the rocks and the stones from the heart and we think that Jannah will come to us automatically. Look at the noble lives of the noble companions, the Mujaahadah they did in this path on this journey. We want that we get everything on a plate with the laddoo's and the sweets. We've just done dhikr and we want jannah. We don't want even a little bit of pain thst we can't even sit infront of the Sheikh because of the pain in our leg. My body would have big blisters, red, wound, believe what I'm saying. They had to call the doctor to my house and my housefolk said what's happened to his body? Scorpion bites and blisters. But Walllahi it would never be that I would change my posture. I would sit in one position. That's it. That's how I used to sit. Why? Because we've come here to learn the deen and it is such a knowledge which is the soul of all other knowledge. The soul of all knowledge. And without this knowledge one cannot reach Allah. So imagine how much respect you'd need. There's an extreme necessity for good manners, so always keep these things in mind, your Sheikh, the Tareeqah, the method, our Mashaaikh and dhikr and our gathering. Dont blame these things. Adab and speaking loudly and arguing infront of the Sheikh, how dare a student do this. They were told. The Sahabah, that if you do then all your actions will be wasted. Whose? Hadhrat Umar, Hadhrat Abu Bakr, Hadrat Talha رضي الله عنهم , why? Because all your deeds will go to waste, they'll disappear. And look at the second punishment that Allah ta'ala says "I won't even tell you." Allah's Glory. Why? Incase you go towards Taubah. Allah won't even allow you to repent. What action did Abu Bakr Radiyallahu Anhu then do? He began placing stones in his mouth. Rocks. Stones. This is manners and extreme caution. The greatest worship in the company of your Sheikh in order to attain Allah's nearness is to adopt good manners. That a person knows how to eat, how to wear his clothes, how to walk, how to speak, how to sit, manners. How to come to the gathering. How to depart from the gathering. No "I am pious I am free from this." No. No one is exempt from this. Whoever has been made a student, then he remains a student no matter how big of a Mufti he is. We saw this with Hadhrat sahib. They would sit as the student. Whether their colours come, imagination comes, whatever. A person thinks im pious. I'm this. Then he's lost. When you come, then you come to eradicate your nafs and ego then you are naked. You take your top off, you take your vest off, you take off everything and then you go under the shower head and you have a bath because you want to be purified with the water. You hear this? So we have to eradicate all of the negatives, don't have any atoms weight of pride that I am this, no we are all lower than our teacher. We dont have nothing, whatever there is, its all with him. That's it.  I have no knowledge. No Quran. لا cut through all the ego. You're not unhappy with what I'm am saying are you? I ask you for forgiveness. Shall I ask you for forgiveness? May it not be that you stop coming to dhikr. Brothers. I have British mureeds. Which mureeds? I have british mureeds. SubhaanAllah mashaaAllah. So you people mashaaAllah alhamdulillah, learn this. Anyway I'm not a Sheikh. The Sheikh that you will get, other Sheikh's in your life for them I am preparing you. When you meet them. Then you will remember that this man, he gave us good Tareeqa, method. I am just training you, educating you, coaching you so that when you go and do bay'ah with a good Sheikh and he sees your good habits he wil say ,"ooh automatically hes a mureed." So it won't take you long. So even in 2 days you will also get Khilaafah from those Sheikh's I am preparing you. Do dua for me okay. I'm not speaking about myself. Infront of me, be free and do what you need to do. I'm not speaking about myself. But when you go to a Sheikh, a Wali Allah, then you should adopt that Adab. Good Mannerism. For me when you are free. MashaaAllah. I have no pain. No issue. No negativity and this is not to do with me. So don't worry about myself. I'm not your Sheikh anyway I'm just your friend, I'm your companion. But when you go to a Sheikh, a Wali Allah, then definitely think about these things otherwise you will fail. Will you do this? Yes mashaaAllah. Okay time, we have 10 minutes, let's for loud dhikr and we will enjoy ourselves more.
