*What is the purpose of life?*

If there are two human beings and both individuals start on one day at the beginning, two individuals, if there is one person, the first person who doesn't have any objective in that day. He doesn't know that day, I have to wake up do a task or if I am going to do something or not. And then there's the other person who knows, who is aware that I have an objective. A purpose, I have to carry out some tasks, some duties. I have to be busy and occupied in something or the other. So there is a difference between the two. Just like there is a difference between the heavens and the earth. The person who has no objective, no plan, no purpose, he doesn't know how to pass the day, where to go, who to meet, when to eat, when to sit, how to sit. In other words, he's like an animal lifestyle. Because he has no purpose in his life or plan. And the person who has a purpose and a plan and an objective in the day, the other person, then he will pass the day in a very nice way. He will know what am I going to do next, what am I going to do after that, what am I going to do after that and with ease he will pass the time. And he won't even realise when was it morning, when was it evening. The time has passed and he will benefit, his passing of the day will be beneficial. His actions. So this life of a human being that Allah ta'ala's given, it's not just one day is it that we are going to live. Is it? It's the whole life we have to life. It may be, it could be seven years. Could be sixty years. Could be eighty years that we are living. So in this life how can you live without a plan, without a purpose, without an objective and then Allah's system. Allah's created the human being and with reality, with a purpose yes and objective. How can it be that Allah ta'ala has created the world and us without a purpose. Can it be so? Our Rabb, our Khaaliq, our Creator, when He created this world and after creating the world, the whole process that we hear and Hadhrat Adam alayhis salaam, shaytaan and all the Prophets Alayhimussalaam. Adam alayhis salaam coming to this world. To the earth.

So along with this, on top of this Allah subhaanahu wa ta'ala, the first action that took place after creating the world is that Allah ta'ala explained to the human being what his purpose of his life is.

و ما خلقت الجن و الأنس إلا ليعبدون

Allah says that when I created you oh Insaan, oh human being, I have created you, manufactured you and there's a reason that I have created you. You have a purpose of life. Even if your life is two years or three years in length or ten years only, but your life has a purpose and a objective. Your life is not without an objective. A mission. This is a very important message that Allah ta'ala gave and how great a favour of Allah on us. Allah favoured us. So those people who understood this message of Allah that we have an objective of life and first and foremost when the human being when he recited the Kalima.

لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله

And he comes into Islam, the first thing that is presented to him is what? Is what is your objective of life oh human being? Why are you here? Straight away a slip comes to him.
A person becomes a new Muslim today, he reverts to Islam today let's say. We say that we are born Muslims and we don't even know what to do, we have no system of life, but alhamdulillah the people who revert to Islam, who become Muslims, that's what Allah says that two rewards will be given to those people in paradise. Who revert.  Because they thought about it, analysed it and we are born Muslims, adhaan in the ear you're a Muslim and our Aqeedah has been made. But those poor souls, they leave their deen, the religion of their father, grandfather, they were stuck to that religion. After leaving that religion, they bring Imaan, belief, then they accept that Imaan.
So first and foremost when he recites the Kalima, a person, he says, "what shall I do now Hadhrat?" Teacher. What shall I do.
He asks the next question. "What shall I do next?"
There's this sister. Pious sister. I remember she became a Muslim. MashaaAllah. And she was quite old in her age, she became a Muslim, and her family were not Muslim. They were staunch Hindu's. Her family. Kattar Hindu's. Her family were severe strict Hindu's. In her house they didn't like that, "how did you become a Muslim?" But SubhaanAllah. When Allah gave her the reward of Imaan and gave her the wealth of Imaan then look at her death that took place when she was a Muslim. I remember it was Ramadan and she was ill in the hospital and mashaaAllah her children say this, people heard this, then when she became ill, and when she became a Muslim she didn't know anything else. She learnt the Kalimah, Laa ilaha Illallaah. Laa ilaha Illallaah. Laa ilaha Illallaah. She would repeat it. What a pious woman she must have been and she was an idol worshipper before. Her father, grandfather, ancestors all in the Mandars, in the temples and she herself was a staunch Hindu, but when she became a Muslim, then first and foremost she said, "what's my purpose of life?" And her purpose was told to her, "Do Dhikrullah and attain the nearness to Allah" And Allah ta'ala, May He give her the highest level of paradise. Ameen. That woman. So what a great woman she was.

So as I was saying that whoever becomes a Muslim, new, reverts to Islam, it's a fantastic reversion and they know that they have an objective and people like us who are in the wild like animals, we don't even know what our purpose in life is. They straight away ask when they convert to Islam, "what is our objective?" First and foremost what do they do? They learn some salaah, they prepare salaah, they go towards the Quran, they learn the deen they understand the deen. Alhamdulillah. And they try to practice. They try. So very few you will see people who revert to Islam that they are wasteful people. That they are wasters because they have the consciousness inside them about deen of Islam. So how sad it is, us people we have Islam infront of us, but our brains don't understand so Ramadan is teaching us this all over again. Ramadan if it didn't come, we wouldn't be speaking about this now. So we have an objective of life brothers. The Quran says you have a purpose. Don't live the life of an animal and the thing ontop of this that the human being. What a beautiful religion Allah has given us. Deenul Islam. Evey Muslim he has an objective and he knows that he has a purpose. "I have to get up in the morning alhamdulillah, then I will go to salaah, prayer. After prayer I will do this.
I have to go to salaah, prayer after prayer I will do this, then I will go Duhr salaah, then Asr salaah, then recite Quran, then I have to do Dhikrullah, then my tasbih's, then my recitation, then go Madrassah, learning, either teach or I'm going to learn." In other words his life, every second, he knows what am I to do next. The Muslim. He knows about waking up, sleeping, what to do whilst he's awake, what to do while he's sitting, whenever he looks, "ooh, it's Duhr time", he will run, hasten to salaah. Asr time. Such a system of life Islam gives to a human being and none of his worldly things reduce because Allah ta'ala has given him a purpose. Islam has given him a purpose. Look at the people who aren't Muslims. They don't know how to eat. When to eat. No timing. No schedule. They don't know where am I going to go now, what to do next, when to wake up, when to go to sleep, no plan, no objective. So how grateful we as Muslims should be as servants to Allah. "Oh Allah, what a great deen you have given us." Birth in to the deen of Islam. Such a massive favour you have given us deen from birth! Or during our life. So we should put a schedule of life infront of us. Brothers, that we are born with an objective, with a purpose, put your purpose of life infront of you and wake up in the morning. What do we do? Despite having an objective, a purpose, we are running after imitating those who don't have the deen of Islam. We are imitating them. We are running after them. They have left everything we have left everything. They have left everything we have left everything. We run after them, just like they are wasters, they have no purpose. "Oh go to this match, do this now, do this now and our people start to run after that aswell.
So a person who has no plan, no purpose, no objective, it's a very severe loss. Servere loss. So look in your houses, look in your families, revive your objective of life. Teach your children the purpose of life that you are not without a purpose in life. Wake up, pray salaah, do this, do this task, do this action, that's how our life is like. A revert comes to Islam knows, but we shouldn't be running around like in the wilderness. So what did Allah ta'ala say.

و ما خلقت الجن و الأنس إلا ليعبدون

Allah says, Oh you people, I created you for one reason and your whole life is revolving around that purpose. One task you have to do and this task Allah ta'ala created you with that task and that task you have to come back to me with that purpose. What is that? الا ليعبدون
Solely one action. Allah says you have to do my Ibaadah. You have to worship me. Servanthood. Nothing else has Allah ta'ala told us to do. I'll give you food Allah says, I'll give you clothes to wear. I'll give you rain to fall from the skies, I'll give you seas and oceans and fish in the seas and chickens and they'll lay eggs and i'll give you the honeybee, you'll manufacture honey. Allah says don't worry about food and drink, but you just stick to your objective. Look at the message of Islam. Allah says don't look left and right. Allah says the message will keep on coming,  whether you practice or do not practice. But your rizq, your wealth, your sustenance will run after you, but we, because we run after the opposite, we don't have belief in this, we have forgotten Allah's deen and Allah's Ibaadah and we run after those things Allah ta'ala has promised He will deliver to us. Food and water. Look at that. Imagine that a human being was an animal now. Think about it. That from the heavens we have dropped to the lowest earth. Allaamah Iqbal, his poem I remember this right now. He said that you are a great star in the sky, you're a human being, you have dropped in the earth and you have become like dirt and the soil. You have high capacity, Oh people of Imaan. The Mu'min, the believer, you have a high level, a high capacity and just one task Allah has given you, one responsibility. So why are you worried about dunya? Allah says okay you have to move around, you have to earn, you have to work, you have to stand at your shop, Allah says I'll send the customers, i'll send you the money. Your duty your task, don't turn back from that. But we have left our duty and we run after dunya. Never do this, Oh man, that doesn't matter how important it is and how busy you are in the world, but when Allah ta'ala's Maqsad is in front of you, your task is infront of you, don't forget the deen for the dunya. الا ليعبدون do Ibaadah. That's what you were born for. So here the questions arises. If we were born for worship, then what about my wife, my kids, my stomach, my earnings and my career, my ambition and deen. There's akhlaaq and there's manners and there's society and there's social intercourse and there's all our individual life in the world. So how can he do all of this? That means that we have to take our prayer mats with us everywhere we go. Because the message we're being given is that we only think that Ibaadah is in the Masjid, the prayer mat, adhaan and that's Islam. Or just pray salaah and that's ibaadah. Or go to Hajj and we think that's just Ibaadah on its own. That's what we think isn't it? That ibaadah is salaah and worship and hajj and that's it. No. This is not the case. If this was the meaning of worship, then demonstrate that to me. It cannot be that we do that all the time. What about, at your business place, at work, at shop, at home. Can you do Ibaadah all the time? It's not possible. And a person's mind keeps changing. His thoughts keep changing. So Ibaadah isn't what we think is Ibaadah. Ibaadah. The definition of worship is this, that whatever Amal you do, whatever action you do in the day, anytime that action is in accordance with Allah's instructions. That's it. Whether it is in regards to conduct or manners or you're in society with people or you're a businessman or an  uncle or a nephew or there's relatives and you're outside. Your wife. Your kids. Your home. Your housefolk. Your relatives.  Within all of these realms, if you act in accordance to Allah ta'ala's orders then that becomes Ibaadah. That is worship. That is worship. So it's not just the prayer mat that is worship. Its not just worshipping or praying. That the glory of a Muslim is that everything he does, A to Z during the day or night, if he's doing it in accordance to Allah ta'ala's orders, then that is classed as worship. And the meaning of worship is what? The meaning of worship is what? The meaning of worship is that whenever you are doing worship to Allah or practicing for Allah then your objective should be that you are attaining Allah's nearness. You are trying to learn Allah's love. You are trying to earn Allah's pleasure and you are strengthening your bond with Allah. Isn't this the meaning of Ibaadah? That's the meaning of worship. So to attain this, it is not just prayer or fasting or Hajj or Zakaat, there are multitudes of actions Allah says that in reality whatever you do during the day, whenever, in any second of the day. There are some times of the day that you will not get paradise through just physical worship. Rather if you do an action according to good manners, good etiquettes, Allah says I will give you the highest level in paradise if you demonstrate good manners and practice. There is no other thing. There is no other thing. For example if you can't pray Tahajjud it could be, there's a man, he was hungry, he has no clothes, he was thirsty and you served him and you helped him. That is Ibaadah. That is worship. Someone you tell him the way when he is lost. That is ibaadah. And it is not a small I
baadah. Its the same Ibaadah through which you will attain Allah's Qurb, His nearness and paradise and you will strengthen your bond with Allah if you assist the human beings.
So all night long you stand and pray nafil's, all night long you can pray and worship. In comparison to that, there's a man he is hungry, he is extremely thirsty, he's upset, distressed. You go and make some chapatti, some bread at home and you say that I'll make some food for him, bread for him and you give him food and drink. From his heart, one dua will come out and it will be greater than your one thousand Tahajjud salaah. His dua. So this is what we should do. All of these subjects of Islam, all of those will take you to paradise and it will strengthen your bond with Allah and it will introduce you to Allah. The same meaning for which we do ibaadah, that's why we pray salaah, that's why we pray salaah so we get Allah's love and nearness and we strengthen our bond with Allah. That's why we prostrate. So brothers you get better opportunity than that, that bring up an orphan or assist an orphan whose mother and father have passed away, ring him up. Assist him. To this extent that however much akhlaaq, for example your wife, if you put a morsel of food into the mouth of your wife with love and Shafqah, affection, Allah says I'm so happy with you that I will deliver you to the height of paradise. You know why? The relationship of the husband and wife is a very great opportunity to go to paradise. Don't argue and fight with them. Love them. These are all paths to paradise.  Look. The sunnah of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, Hadhrat Khadijah Radiyallahu Anha, the beloved wife of the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam about whom it is stated, Hadhrat Aishah Radiyallaha Anha said something and Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "listen Aishah, let me tell you something." The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "Oh Aishah, khadijah is that woman whose love, Allah instilled her love into my heart automatically and that woman nobody can compare to her. When Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was referring to Hadhrat Khadijah Radiyallahu Anha. In other words, so much love Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had for Khadijah Radiyallahu Anha and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that she is that woman, pious woman, Allahu akbar, when he spoke about Khadijah Radiyallahu Anha, he said that, 'when I had no one to help me, she assisted me.' Khadijah Radiyallahu Anha. Whenever everyone was disbelievers, she came into Islam at that time. And she assisted me in all of my past troubles, she assisted me. My children, she was the mother of my children. And from her my children were born. And he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that "she sacrificed many things during my lifetime. No one can compare to her." And Hadhrat Khadijah Radiyallahu Anha, SubhaanAllah by chance we see that this subject, I was talking about Ramadan. The message of Ramadan. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to love her immensely and on top of that Hadhrat Khadijah Radiyallahu Anha, SubhaanAllah her daughters, Hadhrat Fatima Radiyallahu Anha and then Hadhrat Aishah Radiyallahu Anha was also a wife. So all three passed away in Ramadan.  Hadhrat Khadijah, Hadhrat Fatima Radiyallahu Anha passed away on 3rd Ramadan, Hadhrat Khadijah Radiyallahu Anha passed away on 7th Ramadan or 10th and Hadhrat Aishah Radiyallaha Anha, 17th of Ramadan so all three beloveds of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam passed away in Ramadan aswell. By chance also this happened. So she was a great woman, Hadhrat Khadijah Radiyallahu Anha, she loved the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam so much and remember, in every example of trouble, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that she helped me, Hadhrat Khadijah Radiyallahu Anha. Great sunnnah. And as a relative also we get a great message that whenever there is a good relative that introduces you to a partner don't look at the age. For example, don't look at the teeth of the goat. The first wedding of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and as long as Hadhrat Khadijah Radiyallaha Anha was alive, he didn't get married again.  25 years old he was and she was 40 when they got married and mashaaAllah openly, happily he did nikah with her and a great life he passed with her. This was the first nikah, wedding of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and what a great message of Islam. This is Akhlaaq and manners and conduct that is taught to us.  We look first when we are looking for a partner. She should be young, much younger than me and even if she's one year less or one year more, "oh she's older than me and I'm younger than her." First look at the deen of the partner you're about to get married to. The wife or the husband. So when you look, don't look at the age first. Look at 25, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and she was 40. Even this sunnah you should fulfil isn't it? So my brothers, mashaaAllah we are so immensely grateful to Allah ta'ala that such a great woman.  If Allah ta'ala gives a wife to a person in every example of trouble in life, especially when you are practicing the deen and she helps you, a million times over grateful to Allah. Then Allah ta'ala also allowed me to fulfil this Sunnah. My wife, also when I went on to the path of Tazkiyah, I'd say that she helped me so much, my wife I can never repay her, I cannot mention the favours she done to me. The conditions and the trials and the tests in my life in the path of Tazkiyah, in purification that this woman, my wife, my blessed wife she gave me immense help in my life. Immense help in my life. So brothers these are the qualities, such akhlaaq. SubhaanAllah that our arguments and quarrels would not end, our problems and difficulties would not end. But when the woman stands up to assist you, I tell you the path of life becomes soo easy and simple for a man. Such great difficulties I had in my life. Im talking about Tasawwuf, Tazkiyah, in propagating the deen, hurdles, obstacles came in life but SubhaanAllah, the assistance she gave to me was immense and this is when you have the clash. The greatest clash for a man but you should deal with love and affection with a wife and vice versa. So that woman who assists you in the deen, she is fulfiling the Sunnah of Hadhrat Khadijah Radiyallahu Anha. Any woman or wife who assists her husband, she is fulfiling the sunnah of Hadhrat Khadijah Radiyallahu Anha. Those womenfolk who are assisting their men and practicing the deen alongside the men in parallel. Their system. They life their life together and overcome the difficulties together, then those womenfolk are practicing the Sunnah of Hadhrat Khadijah Radiyallahu Anha. And her Maqaam I have told you, they are fulfiling her Sunnah. SubhaanAllah. So this is the message.

و ما خلقت الجن و الأنس إلا ليعبدون

This is the meaning when Allah says, "I created man and jinn only for my worship." So any action you do during the day or night, if it's in accordance to Allah's instructions then it is worship and it is a very great action.  Hadhrat Ibn Abbas Radiyallahu Anhu was sat in i'tikaaf and a man came to him and he said I need help from you, I'm in severe need of help from you, that there's a man he is pestering me. There is a debt I've got to pay." Hadhrat Abbas Radiyallahu Anhu he wrapped his cloak and he came out of his i'itikaaf and he said, "Hadhrat you're in i'itikaaf!?" He replied, "The action that I am going to do is greater than i'itikaaf." He broke his i'itikaaf and left the masjid. To help him. So this is the reality that Insaan he has been created by Allah for Ibaadah. The meaning of Ibaadah, worship is that all of the actions of the day, the tasks of the day, the requirements of your life, A to Z, if you live them in parallel with Allah's instructions, then the whole of your life you will be in ibaadah. Worship. What do we do? We just restrict our life to a few actions under one platform. We think that is Ibaadah. The rest of our actions in life are weak in accordance to some. So alhamdulillah Ramadan has given us this message. That this life, compile your life together in such a way, because Ramadan my brothers, it's not just 30 days alhamdulillah Ramadan is a great ni'mah of Allah that it reminds us of the purpose of life. And we have to prepare ourselves, Ramadan is preparing us for the next life that the life you need to live, your previous life before Ramadan was like this, it wasn't correct, you thought that this was just Ibaadah, you didn't think that manners was ibadaah. You didn't think that living in society was ibaadah. You didn't live with your family as Ibaadah. You thought that Islam was just praying. But no, don't live the rest of your life like this, Ramadan is reminding us this during this month that you need to live the rest of your life correctly. And everything is necessary. Just like salaah is necessary, also in your family, to bring up your children correctly is Ibaadah. To do khidmat and to serve your children, to serve your parents is necessary. Wherever you go, whoever you see, whatever demand there is at that time, you need to do the correct thing, that is Ibaadah. What do we do? We see that there is a man, he is sick, extremely sick, he has a need, a requirement, assistance and it's time for salaah, we leave the sick person, oh it's salaah time I'm leaving the sick person, run away. Oh servant of Allah! The greatest salaah at that time is to look after that sick person. Then you'll say oh my salaah has gone. Oh my fast has gone. We are lamenting and we say it in front of him. The person who is in need and he needs a favour and we say, "Oh my salaah has gone" and you're trying to show that man that you are doing him a favour. He says, "please don't break your salaah for me, or don't leave your fast for me he says." Rather that man hasn't understood the deen. You are trying to tell him that you are doing him a favour!? Salaah is not Ibaadah on its own. Rather greater than that, the more Thawaab you would've earned at that time, if you served that sick person in need without telling him that you are assisting him with this niyyah, with this intention you should do it, that I want to please Allah. I want to get near to Allah. I want to strengthen my bond with Allah. That is the definition of worship. So this is the action. This is what Ramadan is telling us that this is how you have to live your life and this is the balance across these four, five things we should have. So how will we do it? What is the Tareeqa? The method that Ramadan has taught us so we can get balance in our life because our life to come after Ramadan that are four or five subjects of our life that are balanced. So Ramadan tells us, how will you get to that? Through Tazkiyah. Purification. You will get to that understanding because Ramadan has come to perform our Tazkiyah. Remember this. لعلكم تتقون.
So you can become a Muttaqi. Ramadan said, I have been sent for you so that I can do your Tazkiyah, so I can teach you the subject of Tazkiyah purification, cleaning yourself, until you don't do your Tazkiyah, if you don't adopt this path correctly, then you will never be what you should be. Then you will never be able to practice the actions of your life the way that Allah ta'ala has defined. So my brothers, what we need to do is, that we need to understand Islam. All of the subjects of Islam, the messages of Islam, every point Ramadan teaches us about Islam, the circle of Islam. Our whole objective of life is the human being, that after passing this Ramadan correctly, he should leave Ramadan and spend the rest of his life as a true complete Mu'min and we should understand what is our objective of life. The objective of our life is to worship Allah and the meaning of worship is that everything we do in our life, A to Z, everything is a worship and we need to practice those task and duties in the way that Allah ta'ala has instructed us that we can attain Allah ta'ala's Radaa, His pleasure, His nearness, so that we can strengthen our bond with Allah. So all of this you will only attain at that time. The message that Ramadan is giving us that when you perform your Tazkiyah, purification, as soon as you adopt the line of Tazkiyah,  the subject of Tazkiyah, when you learn it. Look when a human being goes to a Sheikh, a teacher. A student. And this is the experience of my life. You'll see this in your life that if you really have gone to a teacher for Islaah, rectify yourself, just like I presented myself to my Sheikh. Yes then you learn the purpose of life and living. You get consciousness. Awareness and Aqal and wisdom and akhalaq and you have regard and care for others and affection for others and you learn how to spend on others and miserliness, stinginess goes away from you. You learn how to give sadaqaat. Charity. You see a big difference in your life. Because you have started with Tazkiyah and Tafsiyyah and cleaned the heart and purified your soul. So if I look at my previous life before I met my teacher, what a big difference after I met my teacher then. A massive difference came into my life. Yes do we need to understand this. We don't consider this correctly. It is fard on us. It is fard Ain on us. And if I share with you a saying of Hadhrat Mawlana Ashraf Ali Thanwi Rahmatullahi alayh, that when you do your Islaah, go to a teacher. It is fard on us. Compulsory upon us. It is not an option. To do dhikr is not an option. To find a teacher, find a sheikh is not optional. Do dhikr when you feel like it, when you want to leave it, you can leave it. Who told you this? If you live your life like this, never will you be honest. Never will you attain the true Islam. Yes the definition of Islam you will never attain. You will just be on one side, on one pillar and you will leave the rest of the pillars of Islam and the other actions you wont even be aware of them. You will only understand the wholeness of Islam when you sit with a Wali Allah, a Sheikh and you learn that what should my relationship be with my wife, with my children, with my relatives, with my housefolk, with my kindred. Immediately the nur will come into our heart. You will say, "oh I am doing wrong before this. I am doing wrong before this." And everything will come into balance and control. So what we need to try and do is that Ramadan is necessary for us to learn. There are still many days left. During Ramadan find a Wali Allah. Find a sheikh, a teacher. Dont delay. Seek a wali Allah. A sheikh. There is a very easy way to find a sheikh, a true guide. Here, mashaaAllah everyone is here who has got a nisbat, a connection and SubhaanAllah that people are hearing what I am saying very far away. So I'm giving a message to those who are far away. MashaaAllah all of you people have got a connection. MashaaAllah this is not the message for you. But those individuals and Hazaraat who are listening to what I'm saying. They may be far away, distant, they will have recognised and appreciated the wali Allah. Without Tazkiyah you cannot learn Islam. You cannot practice Islam. This is the hukm of Allah. You cannot practice the path of islam without Tazkiyah. When you go and meet a teacher, you are aware of deen and you become conscious and aware, then you will understand how to practice the pillars of the deen. And then you will understand the Nasiha of Ramadan. So be quick and hasten and seek and find a teacher, a guide. Whether you're in America. If you're listening to me in USA or Canada. You could be in Saudi Arabia listening to me. Wherever you are listening to me, very simple formula I will tell you how to find the guide. Very simple formula that I did myself. Prayed 2 rakaat nafil and after praying the 2 rakaat nafil, turned to Allah and request from Allah that, "oh Allah I have heard and Ramadan has made me understood the deen. I'm just doing Ibaadah and Salaah and praying. I dont know about the rest of my life. What shall I do? My heart doesn't go towards other things that I have got, other responsibilities, they are Ibaadah. They are the ibaadah of Islam. They are the worship actions of Islam and through those I get everything and I want to attain you, oh Allah. I can find you from many ways Allah, I can even find you at my workplace, my business place, with friends, in their company,  in the company of my relatives I can find your nearness Allah, but for this I need to learn that Allah, please take me and connect me to your Wali. To your friend. A pious person. So through his company and his suhbat, I can also clean myself, purify myself just like Ramadan has cleaned me and purified me. So the taqwa can come into my heart, Allah, I seek guidance from you, Allah guide me to your Wali, to your friend or Allah send him to me", vice versa" SubhaanAllah. Both things can occur sometimes. Sometimes the Wali Allah can come into your life aswell. He can approach you. So inshaaAllah do this action. And after a few days when you do this action, pray the nafil and then your heart will attest and you will see that man who you will get the guidance from. Yes. But when you attain that nearness, then value and appreciate that individual. Yes. Rememeber this. That if you don't appreciate and value then Allah ta'ala says, I took you to the guidance from far or near, Japan, from Saudi Arabia, wherever I introduced you to my friend and the biggest act of ungratefulness on the day of judgement will be, because deen, to attain deen, this is the fountain. Allah ta'ala sealed your deen at the fountain of the company of the Wali Allah. If you don't follow his instruction. So Allah says when I introduce you to my Wali, oh foolish man, what deen will you understand? You didn't even understand that human being? The guide? The guide who was telling you about the deen, how will you understand the deen? So then when you reject that path, then Allah ta'ala says that consider that all of the paths of the deen, understanding of the deen you will get through the guidance of the teacher and you will have to reduce your pride. Your haughtiness. And reduce your brain and intellect and you'll have to obey that teacher. Imitate that teacher. My Hadhrat sahib used to say, I'm presenting to you the statement of my Sheikh and obviously his Sheikh said this, his Sheikh said and his sheikh was a great personality and that if you say his name, you will get such people who will be amazed, that people of that era!? Such great personalities. That Hadhrat sahib, my teacher said, "When Allah introduces you to the Wali Allah, the Wali Allah, the teacher, he is not greedy for your company. He doesn't want your acceptance or submission or you to run after him or give something to him or wealth etc." No he cannot be a Wali Allah who spreads his sheet out and wants dunya and money and wealth from people. He is not a Wali Allah. My Hadhrat sahib said, "A Wali Allah is he, he is not happy about the person who had come and he is not sad about the person who has left." He is totally independent from the people. He doesn't ask, who has come? Who didn't come? Who has left? And he starts crying, "oh he was my true mureed, he was my student, he used to give me money or gifts or presents." He never asks why he hasn't come. Rather he does dua, "Allah don't take him far away from the deen, Allah make him steadfast on the deen and if he comes then remember the hukm. That when any student comes to you, look what a great hukm, my teacher said, "Any servant that has come to you, then I am sending him. Then you have to have love for him, affection for him, you have to give your faiz and your good company and teachings to him. That's your duty and task that send the faiz to him and don't leave him free. Dont leave him in the wilderness." Yes. Not that, "come to dhikr, come to dhikr and we beg them. And we call them and then we don't give them any teachings. No my Hadhrat sahib said no don't do this. That is your duty and InshaaAllah I will introduce him to Allah and I will give him the connection to Allah. Yes. And then there's the teacher, he takes the negatives from the student.
Ths is what happened to the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when he was doing da'wah of the deen and he took many negatives from people. He had many bad negatives vibes from people but he kept on persevering and teaching. SubhaanAllah did he want to eat the wealth of Hadhrat Abu Bakr Siddiq Radiyallahu Anhu? Did he want to take shops from Abu Bakr Siddiq Radiyallahu Anhu? Did he want to make houses and bungalows from Hadhrat Uthman Radiyallahu Anhu? No. He had no greed, no requirement of the deen. Rather in every turn of life, he said that these people are astray, I have to introduce them to Allah even if they throw stones on me or swear at me, or pester me, but he never stopped giving da'wah. Every one person, even those who were against him, the enemies, they all became people who believed in Allah. So this is the action of the Sheikh, the teacher. So if that is his task, then even the mureed or the teacher of the student, even he should have some regard and respect. So even today I am million times over grateful, a millions of times grateful that Allah has given me great students, great Khankah's Allah ta'ala has given to me. Great Khankah's. And in those Khankah's alhamdulillah the people who are protecting the Khankah's, who are serving the khankah's and those who come to the Khankah's, even today, in all the Khankah's, Allah has given me great individuals who attend the Khankah's. Everything Allah ta'ala has given me is fantastic and magnificent. Why? Because Allah gave me a magnificent Sheikh so everything that has come after that is magnificent alhamdulillah. These are ni'mah that Allah subhaanahu wa ta'ala has given to us. So when you get such a great teacher and you got a connection with him, then you should think yourself, Oh student, you should return the favour. At least I should obtain the objective of life from my teacher. So for that Hadhrat sahib used to say, "three, four duties you must observe," my teacher said. Number one, you should have love for your teacher. That's it. Dont look around. If you obey, you should obey your teacher. When you serve, you should serve that teacher. Imitate that teacher and serve the teacher. When these three or four things you collect, amass together, these are the words of my Hadhrat sahib, my teacher, not mine. He said if you do these three or four actions, then fuyooz blessings will come from Allah, barakaat, blessings and mercies. And promotion beyond promotion you will attain in your life. And you can experience this for yourself. This is the path and how great a path Allah ta'ala has given to us. Allah says, "strengthen your connection with your teacher." Just like the well where you go to find water, then Allah says I will never let that well run dry, it will come like zam zam for you. Fuyooz and barakaat and blessings and mercies and today we don't attain those things. There's a reason. Its not like there's anything lacking in the teacher. There is lacking in us. We are devoid of those principles. We don't practice the way we should, in accordance to the principles of Tazkiyah and Tasawwuf. So sometimes, I have written a book, Salaar-e-Naqshbandia. Read that kitaab. Salaar-e-Naqshbandia. The paths of our pious predecessors who followed this path and followed the paths of the deen and the fuyooz and barakat in their lives, so when a person, for example you take bay'ah and pledge allegiance and the Naqshbandi silsilah, when you follow this path, there is khidmat and Muhabbat and Itaa'at and you're listening. You have Jazab and passion and love. Then this fayz and blessings will come via all of the chain of our silsila via going back to our Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. In every Muraqabah, in every gathering of dhikr, all of your Sheikh's, to your teacher, to your teacher, to your teacher, back through that chain, that authentic chain, back to Abu Bakr Siddiq Radiyallahu Anhu, back to the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. This faiz will come in to your heart and I'm saying this to you sat on this prayer mat. This is not some minor path. This is the path which Allah ta'ala has said,

وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ

The path through which Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam brought three things to the Ummah. Quran, Bukhari shareef, the sunnah - the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam brought. And the Khankah's, Hadhrat Abdul Qadir Jilani Rahmatullahi alayh, chisti, all the silsilah's the Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam brought them to the deen. To the sahabah. This didn't come from any other religion because we had a need for them, but we rejected Tazkiyah. Remember this. These three subjects of Islam, if you leave Tazkiyah, then you leave Sunnah, then you will never be able to practice the Sunnah if you leave the subject of Tazkiyah. When you leave Tazkiyah, you will leave the sunnah. You won't be able to practice upon the Sunnah. And if you leave the Sunnah then you will never take benefit from the Quran. Anyone who doesn't practice upon the Sunnah can never take benefit from the Quran. Remember this. If you want to benefit from the Quran, then learn how to practice the Sunnah. If you want to learn how to practice the Sunnah, then you must create a bond, a relationship, with a Sheikh, with a teacher.

Practically, physically. My brothers all of these teachings Ramadan is telling us and giving us. If Ramadan didn't give us this company, then how would we attain taqwa? Ramadan has told us that I've come to make you the Muttaqi and I will make you the Muttaqi by the end of the month. So the Sheikh also, when you go to a teacher, the sheikh says you have come to me so I will make sure that you graduate as a Muttaqi. I won't let you run away. I won't let you leave. Wasaawis of Shaytan, these are the tests and challenges for a man. For example when you go to a Sheikh, the sheikh says you have come to the right path.
اهدنا الصراط المستقيم

You take the hand of the Sheikh and take bay'ah, pledge of allegiance, then all the paths of the deen and your life open up. Yes. And Your biggest enemy is shaytan. Oooh he will attack you from all angles with full strength, he will attack you, because this is the Mujaahadah.

و جاهدوا فينا
This is what you have to struggle and take hold of no matter what happens. Doesn't matter what shaytan says. Whatever hurdles come. Whatever comes. But don't abandon the path between you and your teacher. May Allah ta'ala give us all the tawfeeq to practice upon this. Ameen
