On judgement day, every second of our time will be printed out for us, and we will have to account for them. There will be a few people who will have some of their time stand out and for very pleasing to Allah - the time spent in a company of a friend of Allah. No ibadat, just sitting in company. Why?
1 No sins.
2 Silence - great ibadat. No futile talk, arguments etc.
3 rahma descends. Peace. Dunya problems cease
4 you become dhaakir - total focus on Allah. Highest form of Dhikr. Ihsan.
5 first sitting - taubah. Objective of this company (not Quran, fiqh etc.), even if people don't realise it.
TAUBAH
Easy way to become a friend of Allah - do true taubah and wash sins. Allah more happy than a man who, having lost Camel in middle of desert (and thus awaiting death), wakes up to find his Camel next to him. This is wilayat.
Taubah with bayat. First condition, repent from ALL sin. Second condition, shame and remorse that he did these sins while Allah watch. Third condition, promise to leave all sins IMMEDIATELY. Then sudden closeness to Allah. Have we stuck to these conditions?
Forth condition, huqooq ul ibaad. Hitting, ridiculing, abusing, oppressing, breaking rights, take money, saying bad to, swearimg at, lieing to etc. You have to ask for forgiveness from the people you did injustice to, Allah won't forgive you. Why don't we? Pride. Those with real fear of Allah will ask for this forgiveness. On Judgement Day, this will be looked at before any ibadat.
DAILY HABIT . At and of day, reflect on what you did. Bring all your sins forward. Recognise them and feel ashamed, and then promise not to do them again. The slate wiped.
Then do same for HUQOOQ-UL-IBAAD, and text everyone (easier than phone) to apologise for what you did. No limit to Allah's forgiveness. Then Allah will make you dislike these sins. Eg wife and kids notice your manners go from loud and brash to beautiful. DAILY TAUBAH, else pride, bad ibadat, kids don't like you etc. If ask someone for forgiveness in person, lower yourself, do so with HUMILITY lity. Style of Rasoolullah (saws) do be humble to all, including those that oppressed him. You show anger to those weaker than you, those that won't hit back (wife, husband, kids) - pride. When you lower yourself, people will actually raise your status.
Message for WOMEN . Think that don't have company/sohbat of Sheikh, unlike men. But listening to shaikh bayan, joining Dhikr online, reading his books IS company. Same blessing as for men in physical company. Continually playing bayans (while cooking etc) = continual reward.
